I was in my cell playing the game werewolf with Kira, Jack and Ethan, just as I had promised. I was trying to concentrate on the game as much as I could but I had too many thoughts running wild in my head. I heard a cell door close and I stopped narrating werewolf and looked up at Hershel. I listened to their conversation while continuing to narrate. I'm really good at multitasking if you haven't guessed already.

"Finally got Judith to sleep." Hershel said to Carl and the blonde girl, who's name I figured out to be Beth.

"How are we with formula?" Carl inquired.

"We have enough to last us another month."

"I'll take Carol for some more at the end of the week."

"Your dad and the others will be back by then." Beth said softly.

"We don't know that. Right now, Judith is the only family I got." I look up at that point, staring right at Carl. I felt a little bit sympathetic towards him but I didn't show it. I understood where he is coming from, but I have a brother who can look after himself, well, sort of. Carl doesn't. If his dad doesn't come back, Carl has to take care of Judith by himself at his young age. I didn't realise I had been staring the whole time until I noticed his deep blue eyes were staring back at me. I quickly shifted my gaze back towards the game and continued to narrate for the three.

My attention was pulled away from the game, as did all of ours, when a faint scream echoed throughout the prison.

"What was that?" Carl asked worriedly.

"That was from inside." Hershel answers.

"Was that Carol?"

"She's out keeping watch in the guard tower with Axel."

"What if they came back in for something? What if they're in trouble?" Beth suggests.

"Let's check the tower, see if she's there."

"How could anyone else get in?" Beth asks.

"The tombs are filled with walkers that wandered in from outside. Someone else could have done the same thing." Hershel implies.

"What's going on?" I look at Kira and give her a small frown before I instantly replace it with a small smile. I hug Kira quickly and try to comfort her the best I could.

"It's alright, probably nothing. Just think about your gaming strategies for now. Your gonna have to beat me anyways and I bet you can't do that next game." I wink at her and she puts on her game face.

"I'll prove to you I can beat you next game. I've already started getting my strategies in order."

I smile at her childishness.

She never grows up, no matter what she's been through. Now, time to find a way to prove myself and have them make me go with him.

I stand up as I start to get a little anxious from everyone's worry. I tell the others to stay put and make my way over to the cell door.

"I'm going." I hear Carl say.

"I can't let you go down there. At least not alone." Hershel slightly orders.

"My father would go."

"I'll go with him daddy." Beth stands from her spot but quickly sits back down when Hershel gives her a glare.

"I'm definitely not letting my daughter go with you either. Someone needs to stay here and take care of Judith. Obviously I'm out of the question."

"I'll do it." I speak up from my cell. Everyone turns to me and once again I'm the centre of attention.

Should have just kept my mouth shut. But someone's gotta do something before my family gets scared. These people don't know you, you gotta show them you're strong.
