I woke up early again at around 4am. I've been having really bad sleepless nights lately. Last night I couldn't stop thinking about what Kira said yesterday.

She misses the old me but she can see I'm changing. It's heartbreaking to see her wanting to reverse time back to the good old days. I've changed so much and it might be too late to go back. But is it too late to change the world instead of me?

I got changed and went outside to sit on the bench. I wanted to watch the sunset and think, it's becoming my daily routine now.

I need to tell everyone about my relationship with the Governor tonight. I'm probably going to receive a lot of hate but they deserve to know. They are bound to find out sooner or later and I want it to come from me.

"Hey Shadow." I slightly jump at the sound of Carl's voice. He chuckles a bit before continuing. "You said I could join you this morning, still offering?"

"Yeah, the sun hasn't risen just yet so you're just in time." I smile at him. He sits down next to me and hugs his jacket close to him.

"Thanks for this, it means a lot to me. My dad wouldn't have the time to do this."

"Your welcome." A strong morning breeze blew through the prison courtyard and I shivered. I forgot to bring a blanket or another jacket out with me.

"You know, just because it's spring, doesn't mean it's always going to be warm."

"Yeah, well I don't know what the weather is like in America. I'm more used to cold weather during this time of year so I expected that because seasons are the opposite it would be warmer." He laughs at my stupid mix up. I huff in response and wrap my arms around my legs, trying to keep as warm as possible. I felt an extra bit of weight place itself over my shoulders. I look at the origin of extra weight to find Carl's jacket. I put my hand up to drag it off but Carl kept his hand on my shoulder to keep it in place. "I don't need it, I have a jacket. This is the only one you brought out. You take it."

"You can have it, I'm used to the weather here. Take it for today"

I pull the jacket on so it doesn't fall off. I cross my arms across my chest to keep body heat in the jacket while muttering a small thanks. He smiles and replies with "your welcome."

Should I tell him now? Or wait till later? I should tell him now.

"Carl,"

"Yeah."

No, wait till later, don't ruin the peace between us.

"Never mind, let's just enjoy the sunrise."

"You can tell me anything you know. I won't bite, just like you." He chuckles and waits for me to talk.

"I know I can tell you things but it's not important." He nods and silence follows the rest of the sunrise. It felt a little awkward so to hide it I looked at my watch which signalled 6:00. I sighed, realising I stayed out here for too long and needed to go inside to get ready for today. "Come one, let's head back inside." I stand up and start taking his jacket off but he stops me.

"I told you to keep it for today. I don't need it back. I'd feel better knowing that my jacket is keeping someone from getting a cold than being a fashion statement for me." I laugh with him as we head inside.

"Hey! Come on! Over here!" Carl yelled.

"Hey! Come on!" We all chimed together. "Over here! Hey! Right here! Over here! Come on! Here! Here! Come on! Come on, let's go." We repeated ourselves over and over again, banging pots and pans trying to get the walkers' attentions. Daryl and Glenn place down some barbed wire on the ground in the field. It was Michonne's idea and was pretty smart too. I see Rick walking over to the gate, getting ready to open it for the others. I hand my pot and spoon to Jack.
