~Chapter 29~

When I found the campsite I thought it best to call the search off and alert Rick, even if he was enjoying a nice rest right now. I sprinted my best all the way back to the church, trying to be as sly and stealthy as possible. The small sounds that grew in the darkness freaked me out a bit and it was tempting to call for someone, just to be comforted. I had to get back though and fast. If I stayed out too long someone would notice and look for me, and I don't want to be caught up in some dangerous occurrences while I'm out here either.

I got back to the church in about 5 minutes and quietly snuck back in. Thankfully Rick was already awake and thinking to himself when I sneaked around. I walked up to him while trying not to disturb the others and he did not look pleased with me.

"Where the hell did you go?" He hissed softly.

"I went for a bit of a walk. I got restless. Look, we have a-"

"Next time you want to go for a saunter around you must tell us. If something happened to you-"

"I'm fine! Nothing happened to me, alright?! Now listen to me. Bob has been missing ever since the party and so has Daryl and Carol. We kind of have a bit of an issue now."

"Let's go somewhere else." He stood up and walked into one of the rooms and I followed. He keeps dodging my announcement and it was getting on my nerves a bit. "You can continue now."

"When I was on my walk I found a campsite that had been freshly destroyed. I looked around for, I don't know, supplies maybe? Anyway, I found some meat and discovered it to be human meat. I've sensed that we've been followed for the past day or so and I think I know who."

"Who?"

"The residents from Terminus. It's just a theory though, I can't say for sure."

"Thanks for telling me. I'm goin' to fetch Tyreese and we'll go on a quick search. It seems like Sasha went looking for Bob and we need to find them all before they venture too far." We started to head out of the room. "You stay here and look after everyone while we're gone. Food is on the left and beverages with them." I nod in understanding and watch him leave with Tyreese who was already awake and taking care of Judith.

I took Judith from his hold and continued supporting the bottle she was currently drinking from. I sit on a bench and watched everyone sleeping. I know it's creepy and disturbing but what else was I supposed to do? It wasn't long before more people started waking up from their nap and were begging for some food. I put Judith in her bed because she was falling asleep and got most of the group some food to eat.

Everyone was slowly eating their food and it felt so dead in the room. No one spoke and it felt real awkward being in the room. Gabriel was just gliding around the room as if he'd never seen a church before.

The doors to the church opened and Sasha came in with Tyreese and Rick following behind. Sasha approached Gabriel and didn't look very happy with him. "This is all connected. You show up, we're being watched, and now three of us are gone." Sasha accused Gabriel.

"I... I don't..." Sasha kept stepping closer to Gabriel, trying to show how she holds more power than him. "I don't have anything to do with this." Sasha draws her knife and heads towards the man.

"Wait!" Tyreese ordered.

"Don't!" The girl named Rosita, from Abraham's group, yelled.

"Sasha, put it away."

"Who's out there?" Sasha forcefully questioned.

"I-- I don't have anything... to do with this." Gabriel continued to stutter.
