Ch. 10

Sorry for the very late update, but i'm double updating for you guys. Finals are kicking my ass. Enjoy. (no media today, sorry)

Brads POV

"Come on Tris, wake up." I said shaking his body back and forth.

"Okay, okay. I'm up. Why?"

"Well sunshine, there is this thing called school that we have to attend." I said smiling down at him.

"Okay mom. But why don't we just skip. We could have another go at last night." He seductively said whilst rubbing my thigh.

"As convincing as that sounds, I can't skip. I'm already late, but my mom left early and I haven't heard from Nat since yesterday, kind of weird. Anyways, you can stay here if you want. No one will be here."

"Sounds good."

"Okay, well I better get going. Thanks for last night." I said leaning down to give him a quick peck on the lips before I got up.

"No problem. But you're all mine after school right?"

"Of course." I said winking at him. I got up and left out the door to try and make it on time. I just decided to take the subway to school.

Connors POV

"And of course, again, no Brad." I stated as we were all sitting at our usual table waiting for class to start.

"Oh cut him some slack Con. So what if he isn't here this morning." Jenn said.

"So what? He hasn't been showing up to meet us this whole week. He has never not showed up without telling where he is. He's changing him." I said whispering the last part.

"Who Tris? No he's not. He's a cool guy." James said.

"Yeah he's cool, but what do we even know about this guy? He's so mysterious and he just has this way about him that doesn't sit well with me."

"Calm down Connor. I think he's a good guy." Lauren added in.

Before I could answer, Brad appeared and spoke up.

"Who's a good guy?" He asked.

"Um, Connor was just talking about Tristan." Lauren stuttered out.

Brad stiffened a bit. "What about him?"

"I just feel like he's changing you a bit and you barely have time for us anymore." I said truthfully looking down.

Just as Brad was about to reply, his phone vibrated.

"Let me guess, it's Tristan." I said rolling my eyes.

Brads POV

"Yeah, he was just wondering-" I stopped myself realizing that he was taking up my time. I am dissing my friends and I never thought about it until it was brought up.

"You know what, I'll just take a raincheck with Tristan and hang out with you guys today. And this weekend since I haven't been spending time with you guys." I said as I sent Tristan a text.

Sorry babe, but I'm going to have to take a raincheck for after school. But tonight I'm yours.

"Are you sure Brad?" Connor asked with excitement all over his face. I chuckled at how adorable he is.

"Yeah, he'll understand. And I can just hang with him tonight." I said smiling at him.

"Why can't Tris just hang out with us?" Jenn asked.

"Wellllllllll, let's just say our activities are very different than what you guys are used to doing." I said trying to hide my blush.

"Well okay then. Let's get to class before we're late." Jenn said. I nodded and we made our way inside.
