So Glad I Found You

Chapter 3

I wake up the next morning feeling happy knowing I had classes canceled today.

I was also happy because I had found my real family.

But I was also sad because my family had lied to me.

Gerard seems really pushy . I mean he did kind of force me here.

But I realize it's because he didn't know about me for so long and that he just found out I even existed.

I get of bed wearing a pair of pajamas Alyssa let me wear.

I'm already liking this girl. She's such a sweetheart and she barely knows me.

I was about to go into the shower when I realized that I didn't have any other clothes.

Unless I wanted to wear my clothes from yesterday. And I surely wasn't doing that.

I stare up at the poster above my bed. Gerard's serious face looked back.

I should say my face since we looked so much alike even our voices sounded alike.

Like brother like sister.

I look at my phone and I see I have a bunch of texts rom my parents and Maya and Wyatt.

Oh no. If they find out I'm here what's going to happen.

Surely they'll have to take me back. I'm not sure I want to leave .

I mean I just found these people.

" Hey." Someone says

I look up and see Gerard leaning against my doorframe and his black hair was messy.

" Hi." I say

" What's up?" Gerard asks

" Well I have texts from my parents and my other siblings asking where I am." I say

" Have you told them where you are?" Gerard asks

I shake my head no.

" I'm going to go make some breakfast. I'll come up and get you when it's ready." Gerard says

"Ok." I say

It's still hard to believe that he's the lead singer of a band I've never heard of. Or for the fact that he's my brother.

Ugh I need to brush my hair. Alyssa! I'll ask her if I can borrow her hairbrush .

I knock on her door and she opens it.

"'Can I borrow your hairbrush?" I ask

" Yea sure come on in." Alyssa says

I go into her room and it's really nice.

" I love your room." I say

" Thanks so much." Alyssa says

She pulls out a red hairbrush.

" Here you go." Alyssa says

" Thanks." I say

I start to walk out.

"I hope you aren't uncomfortable staying here. You can always go back to your family if you choose." Alyssa says

" I think I can get used to it." I say

She smiles and starts to clean her room. I walk back my own room which was barren except for the MCR poster.

There was one member I wasn't sure about. He had glasses but I couldn't determine who he was. Must've been a past member.
