So Glad I Found You

Chapter 12

When the plane had finally landed you couldn't believe how fast I ran off. I was like speed racer. Or a kid who had too much Mountain Dew .

As I waited by the entrance to the terminal I tapped my foot impatiently for Gerard and Alyssa to hurry up.

" You guys are too slow." I say when they finally got out

" Hey I'm functioning on very little sleep here." Gerard says

" Well can you wake up more please?" I ask with a laugh

" Ronnie you're so lucky I don't have the energy right now . I would've smacked you right here right now." Gerard says

" Gee! Don't say that out loud." Alyssa says

" Can we just get our bags?" Gerard asks

" Of course ." I say as I start marching over to the baggage claim

When we had all gotten our bags my stomach started to growl. Rather loudly too.

" Looks and sounds like you need food sis." Gerard says

" Yea I'm starving." I say

" So am I Gee." Alyssa says

" There's a McDonald's around the corner I'll get something for us." Gerard says

When he went around the corner I turned on my phone to see a few messages on my phone. A couple from Ashton and Nicole, a couple from Frank , and a couple from Ray.

Ray: How was the flight?

Me: idk I slept through all of it. Pretty drowsy though.

Ray: ok glad you're all safe.

Me: thanks we're fine here in NJ.

Then I went on to reply to Frank. His were  a bit more urgent.

Frank: Hey how's the flight?

Frank: Ron how's the flight?

Frank: Are you guys ok ?

Frank: RONNIE AURORA THOMPSON WAY YOU ANSWER ME GODDAMMIT!

Me: Woah calm down Frankie . I had my phone off . The flight was great and we're fine.

Frank: sorry I was worried.

Me: it's totally understandable.

When Gerard came back Alyssa and I basically dove into the food. Well our food anyway . Gerard kept his food to himself.

When we were done I sat back in my seat satisfied and happy now I didn't have to murder anyone for food.

" How's about we head off to my house?" Gerard asks

When we got in a taxi I was squirming around in my seat. Gerard held my hand but it didn't help the fact that I was meeting my parents.

" They don't know you're coming so it'll be a bit of a surprise." Gerard says

" No shit Sherlock." I mumble under my breath

" Hey watch your language Ron." Gerard says

" That's funny I wasn't aware that I was a Weasley." I say

He rolls his eyes and lays his head on Alyssa's shoulder. I knew then and there that the connection to those too was much deeper than love.

I was determined to find out too but not know. I'll find about it when the time is right to ask. But for now I can only imagine.

When they drop us off we are in front of a beautiful house. It took my breath away. I couldn't help but wonder that I could've lived there.

If only they hadn't given me away. And that was the whole point of this trip anyway. So that I could finally meet my parents.
