So Glad I Found You

Chapter 8

I decided to stay at home before my classes. I just realized I've started calling this place home. But it is my home.

More of a home than when I was with Maya , Wyatt , and my adoptive parents.

I wonder why they gave me up. I mean my real parents. I've never met them.

Maybe Gerard will take me to see them sometime. I would love to meet them. Meet my real mom.

My adoptive parents were enough of parental figures for a while but I need to know the people who I came from.

See them up close. See the resemblance between them and me.

I mean I can see the resemblance between Gerard and I but I need to see the resemblance between our parents and me.

I get up and out bed and stare at the MCR poster. They've inspired many people. I know because I've heard the stories.

It's amazing how much one band can change a community. It's a chain reaction that never ever stops.

You can't make it stop either. There's no way to do it.

I go down the stairs and I see Alyssa watching the T.V. Probably relaxing before she had to go to work.

"Good morning Ronnie." Alyssa says

" Good morning." I say

I go sit next to her on the couch. She had on the Disney Channel and it was showing reruns of The Suit Life of Zach and Cody.

"I love this show." I say

" Me too." Alyssa says

So we continued watching the show was occasionally laughing at the stuff on the show. It was too funny.

When a new episode began we danced and sang along to the theme song.

"Well what's this?" Someone asks

We stop dancing and turn around . There at the stairs was Gerard and he was grinning.

Looks like he had been there for a while . We both blush and start laughing.

" Guess we found a common interest in old Disney channel shows." I say

"Sure thing." Alyssa says

Gerard comes over and kisses Alyssa on the forehead.

I've never had a boyfriend but I want one that treats me how Gerard treats Alyssa.

I mean doesn't every girl want a guy like that. I know I do.

"Hey guys good morning." Frank says

He looked like he had just woken up , which he had.

"Good morning Frankie." Alyssa says

"Frankie?" I ask

" It's his nickname. He has others but we call him Frankie a lot." Gerard says

" Oh I should have known." I say

"That's ok." Frank says

"So what are we doing today?" Gerard asks

" Well I have classes later today." I say

" Do you want me to take you?" Gerard asks

" It's not that far from here. I can manage." I say

" I have work." Alyssa says
