So Glad I Found You

Chapter 11

After the meet and greet I had come out changed. I now understood why bands like these are so highly regarded.

Before I always thought emos and emo bands were weird but now I understand why they are people's favorite music tastes.

It's because their songs mean something. They have a connection with a certain girl or boy.

These bands and their songs make them happier than they have ever been. Their lyrics have different meanings.

And I knew from that day on I would look at emos and emo bands differently. I had a new found respect for them that I never had before.

When I woke up the next morning I was , as I said before changed. I was thankful that I had a good life. Well so far anyway.

I sat on my bed staring around my room. When I did get out of bed I was still the only person up.

So I decided to take a walk. I got dressed are a quick breakfast and went out the door.

I had never see such a pretty neighborhood. Everything is so different from my old one. Even though I'm still in the same state.

It felt like I was in a totally different world. One where I belonged.

As I walk around the neighborhood I heard music coming from somewhere. I started to follow it and I found the source.

It was a garage band and by the looks of it they were pretty poplar too. They sounded pretty good too.

I walked up and when I got to the front I saw Matt and Bailey there.

" Hey guys." I say

" Hi!" Bailey says with a hug

" They're really good." I say

" I know. They're pretty popular around here." Bailey says

" Does your brother know you're here?" Matt asks

" No." I say

" Well when this is over you better jury back so he doesn't send the SWAT after you." Matt says

" Not if he doesn't find me first." I say

When the song is done the lead singer starts to talk.

" Ok this next song is one we do covers of often it's called My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark." He says

Then he begins to sing. It was a pretty good song but I didn't know who it was by originally.

" Hey who's this song by?" I ask

" Fall Out Boy." Matt says

" Ok." I say

I definitely had to look up this Fall Out Boy. They seemed like a pretty cool band . Why hadn't I heard of them before.

Suddenly a hand is on my shoulder. I look behind me and I see Gerard.

" Time to come back everyone's waiting for you ." Gerard says

" Bye guys!" I say

" Bye Ronnie." Matt and Bailey say at the same time

It's a twin thing I guess. Gerard and I walk back to his house where Alyssa is waiting for us on the porch.

She was on the porch swing fast asleep. I see Gerard smile at her and I couldn't help but smile too. They love each other. And I hope one day I can be loved like that too.

But for now I am alone. I admit I'm jealous of their relationship . Mostly because I had never had a boyfriend.

We wake up Alyssa and go inside. Alyssa and had gotten closer mostly because we were almost the same.
