Chapter 8: A beautiful pony
We arrive at the house and knock on the door. I admire her creative colours and beautiful decorations on the house; the white frills on the edges make a nice extra touch. Rarity opens the door and starts stumbling with her words; “p-p-p-princ-c-cess L-Luna we-welc-come” she says as she bows down before us.
“Rarity, you can just call me Luna,” I say as Light and I start to enter. Rarity almost faints but uses her horn to bring a couch to fall on. “Okay then… Luna. Who is your friend?” asks Rarity as she looks at Light in a you look a bit ruff kind of way, how dare she judge him from the way he looks, I actually think he is very handsome.
“This is Light,” I say as I motion to Light and start blushing. “Light this is Rarity, Rarity this is Light”. “How do you do miss Rarity?” says Light in a very sophisticated manner, oh no I think he knows Rarity does not like the look of him. “Well hello Light” says Rarity quite taken back.
“Come in you two, you must be freezing cold, I will go and light up the fire for you” says Rarity as Light and I walk into her beautiful home/ shop. The house seems to light up as we enter; there are smart gowns and pretty dresses and feathery hats and sparkling capes. I can see why Rarity designs clothes, she has an amazing talent.
“Rarity seems to be a very beautiful unicorn” I say to Light as he and I sit down on Rarity’s soft couch. “But no pony could be as beautiful as you Luna” replies Light, I quickly start blushing. “I simply must make you a gown for the party Pinkie Pie is throwing for you Princess Luna, and I could make one for you too Light” says Rarity as she sits down after lighting the fire.
“That would be lovely Rarity, would you like Rarity to make you one as well?” I ask Light. “No, no that is quite alright, I don’t need any clothes,” replies Light, again very sophisticated. We are in Rarity’s home for about ten more minutes before we leave, it is a very pleasant visit but Light made himself sound smart the whole time, I like him better when he acts like he always does.
