Chapter 19: Games night

It is mid afternoon and the light starts to dim a little, Apple Jack says we should get ready while she sets up the food there. “So Light” I say as we go to Twilight’s home, “Apple Jack, said that ponies recommend games. So do you think that we should also do that?”. “That sounds really fun, but do you want to?” asks Light, “only if you want to” I reply. “Then it’s a deal we will say a game that we like, but which one?” he says. “Water tag!” we both yell out at the same time. We laugh and laugh the whole trip to Twilight’s. We are going there to get ready and ask if she is coming, oh, and I almost forgot about the apples.

We arrive at her house and knock on the door. “Spike! Can you get the door” I hear Twilight say from inside. “Coming!” yells Spike as I hear footsteps. “Hello Princess Luna, Light, Twilight it is Light and Luna” says Spike as he bows down. I start hearing hoof steps, “hello Luna and Light” says Twilight as she bows down.

“You don’t have to bow down, and Twilight here are your apples” I say to them as I hand Twilight the apples and they get up. I look around awkwardly and admire her garden, “are you going to the games night?” asks Twilight. “Yeah, Apple Jack told us about it, are you two going?” I reply, “yes we are going” says Twilight. There is another silence and then Light says “we just came to get ready and meet up with Apple Jack”, “right well, see you ponies there” Twilight replies and starts trotting off with Spike. We walk inside and start getting ready. I grab a few things and so does Light, now we are ready.

Light and I arrive at Sugar cube corner, the party is being held outside but this I where it starts. We greet other ponies and find Apple Jack. “Hi ya ponies, glad ya could make it”  says Apple Jack as Light and I walk up to her. “hi Apple Jack, how is it going?” I ask as I look at the delicious food, mmmm, yum I wish we could have some. Apple Jack obviously sees me because then she says “it’s goin’ good, you can ‘ave some o’ the food if ya want”, “ok thank you” I reply. I tuck into the cupcakes and apple pies. They are amazing and I am really hungry. “Mmmm, they are really good” I say to Apple Jack and Light. I bet this games night is going to be really good.

“Come on everypony, gather round!” Pinkie Pie calls out into a microphone as she bounces into the room. I think she is hosting it. “If you are hungry or just want to talk then stay in this room. If you want to play hide and seek come outside (this is for the fillies), if you want to play balloon tag then come with me, we will play lots of other games later but these are just to start off, hope you have a great and fun time”. The room fills with talking and laughing. “Do you want to play laser tag, that sounds cool” asks Light, “sure” say me and Apple Jack at the same time. Laser tag sounds great, I have never played it before. “How do you play it?” I ask. Light and Apple Jack shrug, as if Pinkie Pie heard me she says, “everything will be explained outside”. “Well what are we waiting for ponies? Lets go outside!” says Light.
