Chapter 21: The big hollow tree

We trot along looking for a place to go. “I know a really good spot!” bursts out Pinkie Pie. “Where?” asks Light, Apple Jack and I at the same time. “I hide there all the time in hide and seek, it’s a really big hollow tree, do you ponies wanna go there, if not I have plenty of other good places we could hide” she replies. “No a hollow tree sounds good, but might it be a lil’ small?” asks Apple Jack. “Nope, it’s really big and just up there” says Pinkie Pie as she points up a hill. “Ok, but is it dark and scary in there?” asks Fluttershy. “No, it only looks dark from the outside, and sometimes birds and squirrels come inside” replies Pinkie. “Sounds good to me” says Light as we walk up to a really big tree. I climb inside last and we all fit in. Pinkie was right, it isn’t dark at all inside the tree. Pinkie soon finds a bouncy ball and we all start playing a game with it. Suddenly the bell starts ringing.

We agree not to talk to somepony unless it’s an emergency. We crawl along the ground, we all have a few balloons each but Pinkie has the packet. I see a Pegasus flying up in the air really fast and trying to through balloons at us. Luckily Pinkie is an expert and they all land in the packet. We all blow our balloons up and fire, my balloon hits Rainbow Dash and she freezes. 

Unfortunately we don’t realise it’s a trick and other ponies jump out and hit all of us with the balloons. We all freeze and walk to their base. They then leave and we are alone. “Well what are you ponies waiting for, let’s go!” exclaims Pinkie. We all look at her confused. “I said ‘the only way you can escape is if everyone from the team comes and rescues you by tagging you with a balloon, I still have balloons, duh” she explains. One by one we tag each other with a balloon. We go out and tag lots of ponies. By the end we didn’t win but we had fun and that’s what’s important. For the rest of the night we play fun filled games and activities, the water tag game went great and Light and I had the best fun ever!
