Chapter 15: The second magic day
I wake up and stretch in my bed, what a party that was last night I stayed up past midnight, when did I even go to bed? What time is it? I look over at the clock, 11 o’clock! Wow!
“Which pony should I see today?” I accidently say out loud. “I’m not sure” I hear from a few metres away, “What! Who’s there?” I yelp. “Wow, calm down Luna it’s just me, Light” says Light. I turn over and face the other bed, Light is in it, I guess we are sharing a room. “Oh, good morning” I say shyly to him.
It is not to bad that we have to share a room since we like each other but I still find it a bit awkward. “You where really tired last night, no wonder you don’t remember us sharing a room” says Light starting to chuckle “You even discussed it with Twilight and insisted I didn’t go to a hotel”. “Speaking of Twilight, how about we see her first,” I say very sleepily.
“Did somepony say my name?” asks Twilight from a room away as she walks in with Spike next to her. “Twilight, *yawn* I think we will spend the first day with you and Spike, if that’s ok” I reply, “Sure thing where do you want to go? Library? Art gallery? Museum? Just stay here? Play around? All five?” says Twilight, “Wow, settle down, I asked to spend a day with Twilight Sparkle not Pinkie Pie” I reply, everypony begins laughing and so does Spike.
“Ok, then we will go to the library first and do the rest in order” says Twilight “This is going to be so much fun”. Cue fast paced theme music. *da da da dadadadada da da dada da da!* Okay maybe that is a bit over the top but here’s what really happened:
“Ummm, Twilight? Don’t you already live in a library?” says Spike, “Oh, what a silly filly I am *laughing*, where do you two want to go?” says Twilight to Light and I. “Well I really want to go to the beach if you three are up for it” says Light, “a picnic and swim on the beach it is” I reply. “Ok, we will leave in half an hour, that should give us enough time to get ready” says Twilight, “I can’t wait for this”.
“Twilight, can I come as well?” asks Spike, “yes of course you can Spike, it wouldn’t be the same without you” replies Twilight. We all get ready, Twilight seems prepared; she packs a basket full of yummy food and drinks like apples, sandwiches, water, cordial, scones and hay. She also packs a book on being at the beach ‘100 fun filled things to do’, a hairbrush, an umbrella that you stick in the ground, sunglasses, three more books, a towel, a radio and goggles.
I just pack a book, the sunglasses from Spike and a towel in my bag. Spike brings a towel and wears sunglasses. Light just brings a towel around his neck and wears his hat. Now we are ready, to the beach!
