Chapter 12: Presents and games

Light and I decide to walk to the first party game pin the tail on the pony after getting some food. I look at the table with food, everything looks so delicious, and I think I will just have an apple to start with. I look to the other side of the table, there is a sign that says ‘Basket of muffins’ but the only basket I can see is the one that Derpy is holding.

We walk into the barn and see ponies starting to play pin the tail on the pony, and since Light and I where blindfolded coming here we agree not to play. After watching for a while we find Pinkie Pie and she tells us that we have a table of presents we have to open. We all walk to the table and find our presents.

Soon many ponies that want to see us open our gifts greet us. I open all my presents and gifts and Light opens all his. It’s hard not to notice that I got more presents than him, but I think that is just because they knew I was coming and they didn’t know he was.

I got things from Twilight and her friends; a party supply bag (containing stuff like balloons and confetti) from Pinkie, a fantastic dress from Rarity, a book from twilight, a pair of sunglasses from Spike, a basket of apples and other apple treats from Apple Jack, a book on caring for animals from Fluttershy, a card from Rainbow Dash and I also got a couple more books, a few flowers, a badge, a scarf, a party hat, lots of lollies, a jacket and about fifty cards.

Light got; approximately ten cards, a hat, a couple of books, a few fabrics (from the cutie mark crusaders) and a pencil case. “Wow, thanks everypony that gave us a gift, I love them,” I say in amazement, I will go and thank Rarity for the dress when I find her. “Yeah, thanks everypony, they are great, I’ve never had so many gifts before” Light says with a beam on his face.

“You didn’t think that I would just give you two a card, did you? I have something much better than that for you gift, everypony look into the sky and prepare to be amazed,” yells out Rainbow Dash as she starts flying into the air. I look up into the air and get prepared to be amazed.

She swoops up in the air then goes straight down, doing a loop. Rainbow Dash flies super fast, the starts walking in the air right in front of us, everypony starts cheering and yelling. She dodges clouds going from side to side. “Go Rainbow! Go Rainbow!” everypony starts yelling. She starts spinning in circles and somehow makes a rainbow twister. The crowd seems lost for words. As her finale she started going down to ground level and started going as fast as ever, she started sweeping up all the confetti and loose flowers, they all surround us. It is an amazing and beautiful site to see.

“And that, mares and gentlecolts, is why they call me the fastest pony in the sky” says Rainbow Dash.  “Wow Rainbow Dash, that was amazing, thanks” I say in reply as everypony cheers.  “That’s ok Princess Luna, glad you enjoyed it,” says Rainbow Dash as she flies away. I’ve got to find Rarity and thank her for the beautiful dress.
