Chapter 13: The start of something great

“Rarity!” I call out as Light and I walk through the path, “thankyou so much for this beautiful dress, I love the style and everything”. “Why, your welcome darling, I just knew you would like it, you must try it on for the party” replies Rarity. “Okay then Rarity, if you say so” I say unsure wether to actually do it, but when I see Rarity’s expectant face, I just have to go and change into it. 

I walk to Twilight’s library and go to get changed in my room. I cannot believe her house is a tree, that is amazing. I walk up and open the creaking, brown door. My temporary room is about average room size with two beds, a couple of books, a window and a vase of roses. The room seems a bit empty though, hmm.

I look again to admire the dress and it hasn’t changed a bit. It is black, purple, pink, yellow and white. It is mostly purple but with swirls of black and yellow.  It has roses that are a pretty pink all along the bottom. There is a white coloured full moon at the front with two clouds covering the sides. To top it all off the dress has amazingly patterned white lace frills all over the bottom of the dress.  

This is the most amazing dress I have ever seen and Rarity made it just for me, wow I have the most amazing friends. Wrapped up in the dress are fantastic shoes; they are black glass shoes with a laced lace. I put them on as well and walk back to the party.

“Hey Light, do I look good?” I ask as I walk up to Light and do a spin. He is wearing the hat that he got for a present; he does look rather dashing in it. “Good doesn’t even cover how you look” he replies with a smile, I immediately start blushing. “Do you want to walk with me Luna?” asks Light, “Yes” I reply. We start walking and soon find ourselves in deep conversation.

I get a bit silly and grab his hat then put it on my head. “Darn! I don’t have anything to come back at you with, I’m not sure the dress would look as good on me as it does on you” he says. We both start cracking up with laughter and fall over. Then he slowly leans over and we kiss. I really like Light and he really likes me, it is one of the best feelings in the world to know that the pony you like, likes you back.

Suddenly fireworks shoot up in the air, making fantastic shapes and sounds, but I don’t look up and nether does Light, we are in tranced in each other’s eyes. I always liked his eyes but now I see that they are like emeralds, big and beautiful emeralds that shine in the moonlight.  I think this is the start of something great.
