"I'll show you too your room if ud like?" April smiles at me. "Yeah sure" I smile back. I grabbed some bags and April grabbed some, I know I'm making out to have loads of clothes. She brings me into, a room, I'm pretty sure this room is the same size as my house and I'm not even exaggerating, maybe a little, but it is massive! "This is your room Autumn, I hope you like it", "I love it!" I shout a little over the top, I mentally slap myself. "It'll be good having a girl around here, I'm used to being around boys, have you seen Tom yet?" She asked. (Tom was her younger brother who is my age, April is 19). "No I haven't" I say, "oh well, I'll leave you to settle in, if you need anything then my room is the 2nd door to the right" she says giving me a smile and wave.
Wow. Maybe this won't be so bad after all I think to myself. I began to unpack to make me feel a little more at home, the room is beautiful decorated, I love it. After I unpacked I immediately rang my mum as she told me to ring her as soon as I got there. I rang her and she immediately picked up. "Hey mum" I say sounding happy, I think she was quite surprised as she knew I didn't want to go. "Hi sweetie, how's America?" My mum asked. "It's amazing! Aunt Tess house is huge!" I shout down the phone. "Haha, aww, how is everyone?" Not even my mum had seen her sister in 7 years. "Yeah everyone is fine, I miss you already" I began to sob down the phone. I have never been away from my mum for longer than 2 weeks, which is when I went on holiday day with Oliver and Katelyn. "I miss you to darling" she says and I can tell she's gonna cry. "I'm gonna go, I don't want to start crying again" I slightly laugh down the phone. "Ok speak soon, love you," "love you too" and then I out the phone down. I then go on to Skype to the twins, to show them how big the house it is! " heyyyy" I shout to them. "Heya darling" Oliver says in that cheesy American accent, I immediately cringe. "Seriously though, how are you?" He says giving a kind of serious face. I didn't want to act like I'm having too much fun as they'll start to think I don't miss home when actually I do. "Yeah I'm fine I guess, you should see my aunts house it's huge, my bedroom is basically the same size as my house!" I shout and we all laugh. After spending hours on face Time, I decided to call Sam tonight, as I'm really hungry and I know I'll cry as soon as I hear his voice.
I tip toe down the hall way, until I bump into a familiar looking face. At first I had no idea who it was but then I started to recognise him. "Hey Autumn, it's me Tom!" He said whilst wrapping his arms around me. "Hey, Tom, you look so different I didn't recognise you for a second" I laugh and he began to laugh too. "So I was wondering if you wanted to come and get some food with me, there is this really cool diner down the road, I could even show ya around" he says smiling. "Yeah, I was actually just on my way to get something to eat" what a coincidence I think to myself, we always have been alike though.
We begin to walk down the road, America is all I imagined it to be. We arrived at the diner. "I'll go and order and you can find us a seat" Tom instructs me. I look around to find some seats, I make my way over to a booth when I find my self tripping over my shoe lace, instead of falling flat on my face, I bump into a guy instead. "Oh I'm so sorry, me And my clumsy feet" I laugh awkwardly. "Hey don't sweat it, my names rider, I like your accent by the way, it's cute" he smiles at me, he had super blonde curly hair, he was kind of cute if I did think so myself. I snapped my self out of my thoughts. "Oh my names Autumn" I smile back. "Well I'll see you round Autumn" he winks and carries on walking. "Who's he?" Tom asks. "I don't even know" I laugh, we go to sit and eat, both catching up on what we've missed out on each others lives.
