It had been 3 days now in America and I already pretty much knew my way around. Today I was going shopping with April. I wake up and make my way down stairs to find aunt Tess and Tom in the kitchen. "Morning sweetie" my aunt said whilst flipping over a pancake. "Morning aunt tess, where's April?" I asked. "Oh she's in her room doing her makeup, you know what she's like" she laughed. "Hey Autumn" Tom waved with a mouth full of food. "Morning" I giggle. I sit down at the island and a stack of pancakes are placed in front of me. "Thankyou" I smile. I eat my breakfast and then head upstairs to get ready. I jump in the shower before doing a little bit of makeup and put my hair in a loose platt to the side. I decided to wear my distressed shorts with a light blue tank top and my white converse. I head into Aprils room, obviously knocking before I go in. "Coke in" she yells over the music she has playing. "Oh hey Autumn, no need to knock" she says whilst turning her music down. "Oh ok" I smile. I just sat on her bed whilst she was getting ready. When she finally finished we headed downstairs and said goodbye.when we had said our good byes we got into Aprils white Land Rover and made our way to the shopping centre or mall as they call it in America.
We pulled up to the mall, it was a lot bigger than the one at home. We hopped out the car and made our way inside. After trailing around a bunch of shops we decided to get some food. We agreed on nandos. We sat down at the table And I headed over to order. "Can I have extra spicy wings and a-" "Autumn is that you?" A voice appears from behind me. It was Ryder. "Ryder?!" I say before pulling him into a hug. "Wow your like my stalker" I joke. "No your like my stalker" he jokes back. "So I was wondering if ud maybe wanna hang out some time?" He asks rubbing his hand in the back of his neck. "Yeah sure how about tonight?" I suggest. "Yeah sounds great, be at my place for 7" he says, writing down an address on some scrap piece of paper. "Ok see you then" I say before making my way back to April with our food.
Shopping was really fun, now I decided to get ready for tonight, I didn't do any thing much different I just added a bit more eyeshadow and foundation whilst slipping on a white jumpsuit. I decided only to tell April where I was going as I needed a lift. She drove me to his house, "have fun, ring me if any thing happens" she says leaning over the passengers side. "I will" I chuckle whilst turning round and making my way to his house, I knock on the door and for what seemed like forever it opened. I woman opened it looking very confused, "hello, if you don't mind me asking who are you?" She politely asks. "My name is Autumn, I'm one of Ryder's friends" I smile. "Oh do come in" she says, I step inside and four steps come running down the stairs, "mum where's my- oh hey autumn" he waves. "Hi" I wave back. "Do you wanna come upstairs?" His asks shrugging his shoulders. "Yeah sure" we both head upstairs and into his room. I awkwardly perch at the edge of his bed. "What's wrong you look nervous?" He asks. "Well I've only just met you" I giggle. "Oh yeah" he replies and we both start laughing. "So you any good at Fifa?" Ryder asks me. "Are you kidding I'm beast at it" why did I say that? He sets up the controllers and soon the match begins. We must've been playing for hours until I realised what time it was. "I think I should head off now, it's getting pretty late" I say pausing the game. "Yeah you're right, I had fun tonight, thankyou" he smiles, which causes me to instantly smoke back. " hey it's not a problem, I had just as much fun" I text April telling her to come and pick me up. About 10 minutes later a beep comes from outside. "That's probably my ride" I say heading towards the door. "Thankyou again for a good night, hopefully we'll see each other again. We exchange phone numbers and i leave the house, jumping into Aprils car. "So did anything happen" she asked smirking at me, I could tell what she meant. " we played Fifa all night if that's what you mean" I laughed.
I washed my makeup off and got in my pjs, then I crawl into bed, I couldn't stop thinking about Ryder, he actually was really hot.
