It had already been 1 week in England, today was Monday and on Wednesday was the day of the funeral, I was not looking forward to it at all. After all this time I still can't believe he's gone. Since he has been gone I haven't been myself, I haven't been as happy, I haven't been socialising as much, I haven't even seen Sam and the twins yet! I spent my days curled up in my bed, mawning into Ryder. I don't want to go back to my old ways, I don't want to go back to being that girl with "depression" or "suicidal". So I decided I would turn things around and take Ryder to meet the others.
We were both laid on my bed when I lifted my head up to ask him a question. "I don't suppose you want to meet Sam, Oliver and Katelyn?" I wondered. "Yes, I'd love to!" He smiled. We clambered out of bed and got dressed. I laced my fingers with Ryder's and we walked down to the twins house. "You nervous?" I asked. "A little" even I had to admit I was a little nervous, I don't know why though. When we got there I knocked on their door, we were stood there for at least 3 minutes before the door answered. It flew open and Oliver was stood there, I didn't think he knew what to do when he saw my face. "Autumn?!" He shouted, I didn't have any time to say anything back, he just pounced on me, causing me to fall backwards, I wrap my arms tightly round him, "so you've missed me?" I chuckle. "You kidding me, I've had like no friends since you've been gone!" He exclaimed, we both laugh before I see katelyn coming towards the door, she was too busy on her phone with her head down to notice me. "What's all the Commotion about?" She asked looking up from her phone, to see me on the floor. She dropped her phone and covered her hand up with her mouth before screaming and also jumping on me, we were all just a pile of humans on the ground. "I've missed you so much!" She cried into the crease of my neck. "Aw, I've missed you too" I giggled.
After our little scene, we all stood up and both of them at the same time look at Ryder, I guess they didn't know what he looked like so this was a shock. "Guys, this is my boyfriend Ryder, Ryder these are my best friends, katelyn and Oliver" I prayed they would like him. "Hi" katelyn smiled, giving him a little hug. "Hey mate" Oliver shook his hand, so far so good. We all went inside where I was greeted with Kate. "Oh my darling, I've missed you" she came running up to me, throwing her arms around me. "I've missed you also" I laugh. "Hello, are you a friend of autumns?" She asked Ryder."Actually Kate, this is my boyfriend Ryder" I smile. "Well hello Ryder" Kate shook his hand. After that we went upstairs and into Oliver's bedroom. "You like Fifa?" Oliver asked Ryder, holding up a controller. "You kidding, I love it!" He grabs the remote out of his hand and sits down on his bed, soon enough, both of them are in their own little world of football. Well he certainly got on well with Oliver. Me and katelyn just went into her room where we were gossiping and doing other stuff. "So what have I missed out on?" She asked. "Well, I got a phone call from my mum the other week, she told me that Alex had passed away" I say, I then feel tears brewing in my eyes, I wipe away the fallen one from my cheek, before she pulls me in a hug. "I'm so sorry" she whispered.
I head into Oliver's room to find him and Ryder screaming at the tv. "SHOOT SHOOT!" Oliver yelled. "YESSSS!!" Ryder yelled back. "Guys?" I giggled. "Hang on a Sec" Ryder wafts his hand at me. After calling him 10 times I go to the plug socket and unplug the wire from the wall. "What was that for?!" They both moan. "Ryder, we need to go" "just 5 more minutes" he pleaded. "You've spent nearly 4 hours on that darn thing" I laugh. "Ok" he hung his head and pretended to cry. "Bye mate, good game" he pulls Oliver into a 'bro hug'. "Bye katelyn". I also say goodbye to them both before exiting the house.
