I run into the station shouting for Ryder. "Has any one seen my beautiful girlfriend Autumn smith, she's about 5'5 and the most hot girl you will ever see?" A voice called behind me,I turned around to see Ryder stood there, his arms wide open ready for me to dive into. I don't say anything, I just jump on his and kiss his face all over. Even though we've only been apart 12 hours, it feels like forever.
We make our way back to toms car and head home. "What about we go for a swim?" I suggest. "Ok, how we gonna get to the swimming centre?" He asks. "My aunt has one in her back garden, I'm sure she'll let us use it" I reassure him. "What about my trunks?" Ryder implied. "I'm sure Tom will have something you can borrow" I reply.Ryder borrows some shorts from Tom and I slip on my bikini.
Afterwards we make our way to the outdoor swimming pool. It was actually quite refreshing as the weather here is so hot and I'm obviously not use to it yet. I dip my toe in first to check the temperature, it was luke warm. Just then I hear a huge splash. I look around to see where it came from, then Ryder's head popped out of the water. "Come on the waters fine" he laughs grabbing my hand and pulling me in. "Ryder!!!" I scream. "Baby!" He laughs, I swat his chest trying to Catch my breathe back. We swim around for abit until my aunt and my cousins come. "Mind if we join?" My aunt Tess chuckles holding a towel. "Geronimo!!!!" Tom shouts whilst cannon balling in. "We're just gonna take the stairs" April laughs. We are now all in the pool, laughing and having fun, I'm really glad Ryder has got on well with my family, it's just my brother and my mum he needs to meet properly now, although I love my brother to prices, he's also very over protective, but him and Ryder have a lot in common so k don't think he would mind.
We've been in the pool pretty much all day, then my aunt gets a phone call from my mum.

T-hello?
C-hi it's me Chrissie
T-oh hi Chrissie, what's the problem?
C-could you tell Autumn to ring me, I have some bad news.
T-ok, I hope everything is ok?
C-they are, I'll see you later
T-bye
"Autumn, your mum wants you to ring her, she said she's got some bad news" my aunt Tess tells me. What could the bad news be? I jump out the swimming pool and wrap a towel around me and head inside. As soon as I get to my room I grab my phone and call my mum.
(A)-Autumn (m)-mum
A-hi mum it's me
M-hey Darling, how are you?
A-I'm fine, what's the problem?
M- I got a phone call from the Royal army yesterday
A-and...
M-they said it was about Alex
A- what about Alex?
M- h-he's been shot.... And he's dead
I suddenly hear my heart shatter into a million pieces. I was just stood there speechless, id isn't know what to say, my brother dead? It can't be true. I break down into tears. "I'm coming over mum" I say wiping my tears away. I end the phone and book the soonest flight back to England, tomorrow, perfect. I gathered I should ask Ryder if he wanted do come with me. After I finished booking the flights, I closed my computer lid and sunk down on my bed. I couldn't keep it together anymore, I burst out crying, not caring how loud I was being, Alex and I have been close ever since I can remember, even when he was gone we were still close. I then hear a knock on my door. "I don't want to see anyone at the moment" I shout. "Oh ok darling" I didn't realise it was my aunt, I shot up quick. "Oh no it ok, I sant to see you" I say quickly. She came through the door, also crying. "So, you heard the news?" She asked sitting next to me on my bed. I just nodded. "Come here" she said wrapping her arms round me, I've missed this, even though she isn't my mother, I just needed some kind I've motherly love. "I know that your brother loved you more than anything in the world" she smiled wiping a tear away from my cheek with her thumb. "We are all coming with you" she said, "really?" I scream excitedly. "Yep, tomorrow morning, so hurry up and pack your stuff" after my aunt had left my room, I pulled my suit case out from under my bed and began packing.
"So are you gonna help me pack" a voice came from behind me, then my head to see Ryder leaning on the door frame. "Ryder!" I shout running over to him and giving him a hug. "I can't believe he's gone, you didn't even get to meet him" I cry. "It's ok, if he was anything like you, he would of been the coolest guy in the world, I'm sure he was" he smiled kissing my for head. After we finished my bags we went to Ryder's to pack his.
When we had returned from Ryder's I tend my school and told them I would need some time off, they said I could have as long as I wanted off. We all headed to bed quite early as we were flying early tomorrow, as much as I love America, England will always be home.
