A small country girl is forced to move in with her aunt who she hardly knows, the only problem is her aunt lives in America so she is trained to become a city girl, she also meets lots of people on the way including a boy.
My alarm went off at 6:30am. Ready for Chloe to pick me up at 7:45. No one else in the house was up, except from my aunt, because she had work. I still had to tip toe around to make sure I didn't wake any one else up. Luckily this school didn't have school uniforms, unlike my old school. I finished getting ready quite early so I decided to ring my mum and tel her that I was just about to go. After I had finished on the phone, Chloe had pulled outside. I kiss my aunt goodbye and hop in her car.
"You nervous?" She asked. "No, not really" I lie, because in all honesty, I was petrified! I didn't know anyone there apart from Chloe. Ryder doesn't even go to school anymore, neither does Alfie, Ross or holly. But I guess I just had to make friends, which I suck at..
We pulled up outside the school, it was huge! It's gonna take me forever to find my way around this place. I just followed Chloe as I had no idea where I was going. We checked each other's time tables and luckily we are in most lessons together. We went to the office first where I was handed a locker key. So the first thing I did was go to my locker, I told Chloe I would meet her in the cafeteria, which I had no idea where it was. I search every locker until I found mine, number 182. I put all my files and books in there just so my bag was lighter.
"Hi, my names Jess" I heard a voice say next to me. "Oh hey, I'm Autumn, I'm new here" I smile. She seemed nice, she had beautiful red hair. "What lesson do you have first?" She asked. "Erm, maths" I reply, flicking through my sheets. "Oh my god me too, I'll see you in next lesson then" she waved good bye and suddenly disappeared into a Hurd of people, which I'm guessing it's time for first period.
First lesson actually went well, the teacher, mr horobin was horrible, which is why we all name him mr horrible lol. Lunch time came around really fast, which I'm thank full for, I headed over to Chloe's table, where she was sat with a group of her friends, I met some of them in first and second class. "Hey Autumn" she said which a mouth full of food. "Sorry I can't here you" I laughed, even though I understood what she said. "Wait aren't you that new girl?" One of the girls asked my on our table in quite a rude tone of voice. "Yes" I replied looking quite confused. "Well just because you are dating my ex boyfriend, doesn't mean your now the popular one." She scowled at me. What boyfriend, don't don't know what she talking about. "I'm sorry but I think your confused, I don't have a boyfriend?" I assure her. "Oh please" she scoffed. "I've seen you and Ryder together don't play dumb!" She yelled at me. "Tiffany please, Autumn isn't dating anyone, stop being rude" Chloe argued back to this 'Tiffany' girl. "Whatever" she flicked her hair and walked off, I don't know who she thinks she is but its non of her business about who I date and who I don't. "Autumn, I'm so sorry for her atrocious behaviour, no one in our group really like her" she places her hand on my shoulder, I don't know why she was apologising. "It's ok, it's not your fault she horrible" I snarl.
Luckily the rest of the day went pretty quick and Tiffany didn't say anything else to me, just dirty looks and hair flicks. I asked Ryder to pick me up as Chloe couldn't for some reason, he already knew where the school was as he use to attend here. I look out for his car until I finally spot it. "Hey" I crawl in to the passenger side. "Hi, how was first day?" He asked, I didn't want to mention the Tiffany thing just yet, I needed to find out more. "Yeah it was ok I guess" which it was. He just nods, "let's go back to my place, and put a film on, holly, Alfie and Ross are coming" Ryder asks me. "Ok" I nod, even though I wasn't in the mood.
We got to Ryder's house and set up the snacks and the movie, as we arrived before everyone else, then half an hour later, one by one, they each arrive. After they all did arrive we settle down and watch the film. After 3 films I decided I was gonna head of home as it was 11:30 and I had school again early in the morning. "I think I'm gonna head off now" I announce. "Just stay for one more movie" holly whined. "No, I've got school in the morning, definitely another time" I smile and wave good bye. I insisted to walking home as it was literally down the street but Ryder wouldn't let me, he's started to become like Sam, which isn't a good thing.
