I was sat on the bench outsider the interviewing area for 3 hours. I had no idea what questions they were asking, I don't think I've been this nervous in my whole life, maybe Ryder could be arrested for beating Marcus up? A million thoughts rushing around my head, I then here my phone beeping. It's was my aunt, the last person I needed to talk to right now. "Hi darling, where are you?" She asked. "Erm, I'm at the police station, about to get interviewed." I slowly say. "What?! Why, what's happened?" She shouted conversely down the phone. "It's a long story, I'm not in trouble, they just want to ask me a couple of questions" I explain. "Ok. Well as long as your ok" "yes I'm fine" I laugh, which make her laugh too. "Ok, love you" "love you too" and then I ended the call. "Miss.smith" a voice shouted. I then see Ryder strolling out. I cup my hands round his face. "What did they say?" I ask worriedly. "They're keeping me in over night, but they said Marcus will be done on suspicious of assault and will be in for 6 months" Ryder says, a huge grin grows on both our faces. "Yes!" I shout, high fiving him. "Well wish me luck" I sigh and go head into the interviewing room. This made me debate weather or not I should tell the police about what Tiffany has been doing to me. She would surely get a month or two, which would be the best thing to hear.
I sit down on the chair, surrounded by interviews and police. "So miss smith, tell us what happens on the night your boyfriend had got into a fight with Marcus" the interviewer asked, turning on the tape recorder. "Well, Ryder and Marcus had some bad history together already, and Ryder's girlfriend, Tiffany had left him for his brother. Ryder then got very mad with Marcus so, Ryder punched him, then one thing lead to another. Our friends, Alfie shaw and Ross shaw, managed to pull him off him." I say truthfully. "Thankyou for that, you and Tiffany also have history, is that correct?" She asked me. I still debate weather to tell them. "Yes, it is correct" I sigh. "Could you please tell us your history?" They quiz. "She would wait for me at my locker everyday at school, then beat me up in front of everyone" tears form in my eyes. "And how long ago was this?" They ask me. "Recently, since about 3 months ago." I say, wiping a tear away from my cheek. "Ok thankyou for that as well" they ask me a bunch more questions, about if dang and Marcus, until they finally let me out.
I run out the room, throwing myself on to Ryder who was sat on the bench. "What did they ask?" He questioned me. "They asked me a bout the night and Tiffany" I then remembered Ryder still didn't know about what Tiffany. "What, what about Tiffany?" He asked looking confused. "I'll tell you later" I say shaking it off. "Ryder Mann, this way please" a police Man instructs. I forgot about Ryder having to stay in over night, I wasn't happy about it, but I'm glad it's not 6 months either. "Bye, I love you" I say kissing Ryder. "Love you" he repeats back. I wave goodbye until he is no where to be seen. I call for cab and head home.
I couldn't sleep at all. Thinking about Ryder all alone in that cell. I was glad about Marcus though, both Tiffany and him made my sling crawl, I couldn't stand either of them. I roll
Over to check my alarm clock. 4:30. I got out of bed and slipped some leggings and an over sized jumper on. I quietly tip toe downstairs and make my way out the house. Running down the street and back to that field where I was before. I really liked it there, it was quiet and beautiful. I close my eyes and finally drift off to sleep.
I was woken by the sound of birds, it made a change from that stupid alarm. Rubbing my eyes I check my phone. 9:00. As much as I wanted to stay I needed to go back, my aunt is a very worried person and would freak if I was gone for too long. After a big stretch I continue my walk home. "Where have you been?" My aunt asks a soon as I walk through the he door. "I just went for a walk" I lie. "Ok, well I've made breakfast" she smiles, ha sign me a plate of foo. "Thankyou" I smile and go to the table to eat it.
When I had finished eating, I got ready to pick Ryder up at the police station. I ask Tom if he could drive me there and back, the most amazing cousin he is, he agrees and we make our way to the station.
