A small country girl is forced to move in with her aunt who she hardly knows, the only problem is her aunt lives in America so she is trained to become a city girl, she also meets lots of people on the way including a boy.
Thank god! Last day of school before the weekend! Don't get me wrong school is OK but I much prefer to be at home, in bed. I wait for Chloe to pick me up again, suddenly she pulls up on the drive, so I quickly grab my bag and say goodbye to my aunt and my cousins.
"Morning" I say jumping into the passenger seat. "Hey, do you wanna come to a party tonight?" Chloe asked me, reversing out of the drive. "Do I have to? I wanna spend sometime with my cousins tonight, we were gonna have a movie night." I sigh. "Please come, you can come for a few hours then go homE, please please please" she begs, giving me puppy dog eyes, hanging her bottom lip out. I finally give in. "Fine, but only for a couple of hours, is ruder coming?" I ask taking a sip of my water. "Yeah, why? Do you like him?" She raised an eyebrow, nudging my arm, causing water to spill down me. "What?! No, of course not" I say wiping the water away from my Chin with my sleeve. me, like Ryder?! No, never in a million years, I mean yeah he's kinda cute, but I would never date him.
After an awkward 10 minute remaining drive to school, we arrived in the car park. I do my usual routine, going to my locker. I was walking towards my locker when I found myself tripping over something, making my fall straight on the floor, dropping all my bags and books, I prayed no one would notice, but I suddenly a group of people formed a circle around me, all laughing and clapping, I looked up to see them all pointing and giggling, then out from the circle, Tiffany walked towards me. "Watch where your going" she smirked, I grabbed everything and ran to the toilets, as fast as my legs could take me. I went into a cubicle, tears rolling down my cheeks, I knew I hadn't fallen over my own feet, she did this to me, how can she be so horrible? I didn't bother going to first lesson, I couldn't Fave the humiliation, so instead I spent it in the toilets.
After 1 hour 30 minutes of hiding, I heard voices appear, which means it was break time, I slowly make my way out, and outside. I sat on the bench, on my own, just staring at my feet, in my own little world. When I was again woken out of my world. "Hey, you ok?" Jess asked, I don't know why I found it a bit fishy that she always appeared when I was sat on my own or after a Tiffany event, don't get me wrong she is lovely. "Oh yeah, I'm fine" I lie, not even looking up at her. She came and sat next to me, I didn't invite her to sit with me, but I didn't mind at all. "Is it because of Tiffany?" She asked looking down at me. "Yeah, how do you know?" I ask, finally looking up. "Honey, the whole school knows." She assured me. "Ugh" I sigh, throwing my face into the palm of my hands. "Between you and me, you and Ryder would look super cute together" she smiled, but I could tell she regretted it as soon as she said it. "I'm so so-" she began. "No it's ok, you actually think we would?" I ask again. "Yeah! Do you like him?" She asked. "Well, he is good looking, and he's super nice, do you know what, yes, yes I do, and so what if I do, no ones gonna stop me, and neither is Tiffany, I fact I'm gonna ask him out tonight" I confidently say, walking away. It tools me a few minutes to realise would I had just said. But it's true. I do have feeling for him.
The rest of the day went by pretty quickly, I made my way out of last lesson, until I was stopped again by, guess who. "So, your asking Ryder out tonight?" Tiffany snarled, she had my collar, crumpled in her hands, and pushed my against the wall. "What, who told you that!" I shout, trying to push her away from me. "Oh well, your best friend Jess, may have told everyone in the school, but guess what the best part is! She works for me, she never really liked you, she's just used you to get information from you and feed it back to me!" She snarled, this couldn't be true! Jess is the nicest, quietest person you'd ever meet. "What?!" I scream. "That's right!" She screamed back. Her grip was getting tighter, making it harder for me to breathe, until s teacher finally saw. "TIFFANY HOLDSWORTH! LET HER GO AT ONCE!" A teacher shouted. "What you gonna do about it?!" She shouted back, letting go of me, I didn't even stop to hear her get punished, I sprinted down 2 flights of stairs, barging past people and teachers. I then remembered I didn't have a ride home as Chloe had to get home straight away and get ready as she says it takes her at least 3 hours to get ready, so I literally ran all the way home.
I had finally reached the house, I ran inside, slamming the door behind me. I just stood there, gasping for hair as I had just ran for 15 minutes straight without stopping. "Hey what's going on?" April said coming towards me, giving me her hand to help me get back off the floor. I didn't want to tell her about Tiffany as she would get worried and tell my aunt, then my aunt would tell my mum and my mum would get REALLY worried. So I quickly tried to think up a lie. "Oh, I'm going to a party tonight so I gathered if I ran home, I would get home quicker which would leave me more time to get ready" I smile, still struggling to breathe. "Oh, in that case, I'm gonna have to help you get ready" she smiled, "no it's fine honestly" I smile, finally catching my breathe. "What ever you say" she said walking off, smiling. I slowly made my way upstairs, as it felt like every time I moved, my chest was about to explode. I finally made it to my room, and flopped on my bed, I was just payed there for like 20 minutes, I was drifting off until my phone began to ring. I looked at the caller id, it was Ryder. So I immediately pressed answer, I don't know why, but after I said those things to Jess, I now get butterflies in my stomach, every time I talked to him. "Hey Autumn, you coming to that party tonight?" He asked, I couldn't help but think of how perfect his voice sounds. "Yeah" I reply. "I don't suppose you wanted a lift?" He asks, I smile. " yeah, be at mine for 6" I instruct, "ok bye" he puts the phone down. I only had 2 hours to get a shower, do my hair and makeup. So I then made my way to my bathroom, (I have an en suite). I then turn the shower on, and get in. I tip my head back, letting the water spill over my head. I then get out and put a robe on, then sitting at my desk and Mirror, blow drying my hair. Luckily my hair isn't that thick so it doesn't take long for it to dry. I then slip on my outfit.

As you can tell by my outfit I never really get too dressed up for these things, but I did put a little bit of effort into it. It got to 5:58 when I had just finished getting ready, crap! Ryder was gonna be here in two minutes, I quickly spray my mango temptations Victoria secret perfume on, my fav scent in the whole world. Then I run downstairs and say bye to Tom and April, my aunt was on a works night. I kinda felt bad because April and Tom was alone, that's why we had planned a movie night together, but instead I'm going to this party, but I promised I would make it up to them. I then go outside to see Ryder's black Land Rover parked outside, which instantly make me smile. I hopped in the car, the smell of Lynx aftershave hits me, he smells amazing, I love boys that smell as good as they look, is that weird? Probably. I looked at him, he was just sat there staring at me, "Ryder?" I giggled clicking my fingers. "Sorry what? Oh you just look beautiful!" He smiles, this causes me to have a warm feeling inside. "Why thankyou, you don't look to bad yourself" I laugh, whilst putting my seat belt on. I turn the radio on to find green day playing, we both instantly brake out singing. "DONT WANNA BE AN AMERICAN IDIOT, DONT WANT A NATION UNDER THE NEW MANIA, AND CAN YOU HERE THE SOUND OF HYSTERIA, ITS GOING OUT TO IDIOT AMERICA!" We both say there singing our hearts out, it's good how we both have the same taste in music, the guys at home use to make fun of me, but now that I met Ryder I finally have a moshing buddy.
