Chapter 16

That's was it everyone now knew me and Ryder were together. We have been dating now 5 days, I rang my mum and told her, she even got to meet him over Skype, I also told the twins, they were a little concerned, but when they met him over Skype too, they got round to it, they got a long really well actually. I still haven't told Sam, I don't know how I'm going to tell him, I don't love him, but there's still feelings there, but I love Ryder even more, Sam will always be my brother and I will always love him, but we aren't kids anymore, he should realise that soon enough, we are all going to get married and have kids and get boyfriends and girlfriends.

But I decided 5 days is a long enough wait. I head up to my room and call him. I only hope this time he wasn't drunk. "Hello" I spoke down the phone. "Hey" he spoke back, so far so good and he didn't sound drunk. "So how's things back home?" I ask, my hand shaking. "Yeah they're ok I guess, I'm missing you" he whined down the phone, "I miss you too" I sigh. "Can I tell you something?" I questioned. "Sure" he replied. "Remember when we were kids and we both said no matter where we go in life and the decisions we make, we would accept them?" I slowly said. "Autumn, if this is about you and Ryder then I'm happy for you both" he giggled down the phone, what?! Am I hearing this right?! I was expecting him to be screaming down the phone to me! "Wait what?how do you know?"I said in confusion. "I've known you nearly all my life, I can tell when your in love, your eyes go really wide and your voice goes higher" he laughed, it cute How he noticed all these little things. "So your not mad?" I quizzed. "Nope, I just want you to be happy, but if he hurts you, I will personally get a plane to Florida and beat his ass" he laughed down the phone, sounding more serious at the end. "Thankyou" I quietly spoke. After catching up we both ended the phone. I was glad Sam was ok with this, he was the person I was most expecting to be mad. I can finally relax. A suddenly I hear a knock at my door. "Can I come in?" Ryder asked. "What's the magic word" I yelled. "Pizza!" He shouted. "You know me too well" I laugh. He entered my room, with some flowers. "Aww for me" I smile. "No there for your aunt" he said in a sarcastic tone. I nudged his arm.

I reach over to my MacBook and put on friends, my favourite tv show, and luckily it was Ryder's too, we lay back on my bed, I rested my head on his chest, whilst placing the laptop on Ryder's thighs. I fall asleep to him playing with my hair, he knows that's my weakness, it instantly makes me fall asleep. Before I knew it we both fall asleep in each others arms.

I was waken by Ryder's snoring, that was something I'd have to get use to. I check my phone. 00:34, we've been asleep 6 hours?! I tested my head back on his chest and went back to sleep again. I was woken again, this time by my alarm clock. "Babe turn that thing off" he groaned, "I have to get up for school" I chuckle sitting up. "Nope, your not going anywhere" he smirks and pulls me back down. "Ryder, I have to go" I laugh, unwrapping myself from his arms. "Fine but tonight we're doing this again" he assure me. I just raised an eyebrow and walked into my bathroom. I was stood there brushing my teeth, until a pair of hands wrap round my waist. I let out a sigh and tilt my head back onto his shoulder. I finished getting ready and Ryder drove my to school. "By babe, have a good day, I'll pick you up at 3" he leant over, kissing my lips. "Ok, love you" I waved. "Love you too" he waved back, then I slammed the door and made my way into school.

I dumped my things in my locker, when a hand ragged my shoulder back, I turned around to see Tiffany stood there, I had no chance to speak until her hand met with my cheek. "So it's official, your dating my ex boyfriend" she shouted in my face. "You don't even go out with him anymore" I shout back. She slapped me around the face again, this time harder, making tears form in my eyes, I didn't say anything else, I barged past her and ran for the exit, "hey where are you going you wus!" She yelled, but I kept on running. I found myself running into a huge field, I liked this field, it was quiet and full of my favourite flowers, Daisy's. I sat down by a tree and shoved my earphones in, I didn't care if I was missing school, Tiffany made it hell for me, each day she woulda abuse me and now I was sick of it! I lay my head back and listen to one of my favourite songs, fix you, by one of my favourite bands, Coldplay, I listen to the sound of Chris Martins perfect voice, taking me into another world, a world with no Tiffany, and no drama, I didn't want to admit this but I missed home, I miss my old school, my old friends! I miss my mum the most, I just wanted to cry into her arms and her tell me everything's going to be ok, I wanted to be home! I find my self spending almost the full day in this mysterious but beautiful field, it was very quiet and away from everything and everyone. I didn't want to leave, but I figured o had to.

I made my way back to the school car park, I waited for all the other pupils to come out, when they did I made my way to Ryder's car. I opened the door and jumped in, I also didn't want to tell him about today, it would worry him and he would pull a stupid stunt like he did last time. "Hey gorgeous, had a goody day at school?" He asked, "yeah" I reply, I have had a good day just not at school. We head back to his place where we both slumped on his couch and watched a movie. About 3 hours later, he had fallen asleep, I feel a tear fall down my cheek, I didn't know why I was crying, I mean I do know why, but I don't at the same time.
