Small girl, big city

Chapter 13

We arrive at a big house, which I'm guessing is the party. I don't know if I've mentioned this but I'm not good with people, especially parties, so this could go either way. We both get out the car, then I feel Ryder's hand attach to mine. We knocked at the door, then a boy who I didn't know answered it. Ryder seemed to know this guy as they both formed into a bro hug, I just kinda stood there awkwardly, until Ryder introduced me, "this is my friend Autumn, Autumn this is Liam" I kinda went in for an awkward hug, gladly he hugged back, other wise that would of been awkward!

We then entered the house where there were at least 200 people all making out and dancing and drinking. I just grabbed hold of Ryder's arm and followed him, where he lead us down to the basement. A sigh of relief came across me when I saw all the rest of the gang there and a couple other people who I didn't know.
Holly, Chloe, Alfie, and Ross where all sat there. I then let go of Ryder's arm and went to sit with them. I was kind of sandwiched between holly and Alfie. After a couple hours of talking and drinking, Ryder grabbed my hand and let me upstairs, he led me into the kitchen, and started to pour me a drink. Why had he brought me upstairs? I didn't think much of it and drank the drink. Then before I knew it, he smashed his lips onto mine, they fit perfectly together, he was like the missing piece to my jigsaw puzzle, they both worked in sync. I didn't want to brake apart from this perfect moment. After like 5 minutes we both pulled away. "I'm sorry" he blurted out. Why was he sorry? "Why are you sorry?" I laughed. "Because you might not have wanted me too kiss you" he worried. "Of course I wanted you to kiss me silly" I giggled, and pulled him into a hug.

I buried my face into his chest. "Well look what we've got here" a familiar voice spoke behind me. We broke apart to find Tiffany and her 'girls' stood there. "Hey, leave us alone" Ryder spoke up. "So you left me for this dog, I always knew you were a cheater" she scoffed. How dare she call me a dog, her of all people can't speak. "Don't you call her that, and we broke up before I even met Autumn" he raised his voice a little. "Oh please, I don't wanna here your dirty little lies, you cheated, well it's ok, because I've found someone better, oh Marcus" she called. "Hey babe" this Marcus guy said kissing Tiffany on the lips. I looked at Ryder to see if he knew who this Marcus was. I looked at him to see his face red with anger and his fists scrunched up. "Are you kidding me?!" He shouted, this time extremely loud, which stopped the whole party, even I was a little scared. "My brother, out of all people!" He shouted again. He ran over to Marcus and grabbed his collar. "What do you think your playing at?!" He yelled at Marcus, I didn't even know Ryder had a brother. Then Ryder's fist met with Marcus's jaw, causing him to fall on the floor. Then before I knew it Ryder was on top of him, throwing punches and kicks, blood gushing from Marcus's face. I gathered I was going to be the only one who was gonna stop this, so I ran over and pulled Ryder of his brother. "Hey stop!" I scream, but Ryder pushed me into the floor, making me bang my knee, I mean this wasn't the main problem of this whole thing, but there was a little bruise. I figured I was too weak to separate them so I ran down to the basement to get Alfie and Ross. Thy both came running back up behind me, and both ran over to Ryder, who was still pounding Marcus. "Hey man stop!" Alfie shouted, both of them struggling to separate them. After the struggle they finally managed to get him off him. "Look what you've done!" Ross yelled. "Look at Autumn, shes petrified" he also shouted. Ryder looked at me tears forming in both our eyes. He ran over to me pulling me into a hug, I've never seen this side of him, I was actually scared of him, maybe this is what Tiffany meant, the other side of him. "Don't touch me, look what you've done" I cry, pushing him away from me. "Please I-" Ryder began. "Don't come near me again" I scream, running out the party, pushing past everyone. I knew this party would end in a disaster. I should have said no to Chloe and stayed at home.

I speed walked home, wiping the tears away from my cheeks. I couldn't believe what I've just witnessed. The image replaying in my head over and over again, if Alfie and Ross wasn't there he could have pretty much have beaten his brother to death. I walk through the door.
I tried to wipe my tears away the best I could, and wipe away the smudged eyeliner and mascara. I didn't want to make a scene. I walked in to find April sat there. I quietly came in and tip toed across the corridor up to my room, but April heard me. I turned around to see her stood there. I think she knew I was crying. "Hey what's up" she said quietly. I just ran and wrapped my arms round her as tightly as I could, she put her arms around me too.

After I pulled away, we both went to sit on the sofa. After I told her what had happened, we both went into another hug. "What about we put a film on, you can pick, and I'll order some pizza?" She suggested. "Ok" I sighed, she always knows how to make me happier. I run upstairs to unchange into my pjamas and wipe all my makeup of, throwing my hair into a messy bun. Before I know it the pizza had come. So we sat there watching click, one of my favourite movies. Both talking about boy problems. We both fell asleep on the couch, as I was way too tired to move.
