SpiderGirl POV
"She did what now!?" I asked quickly. "She turned into a dragon and couldn't control herself so she shot a fireball at me." SilverMist said. She was laying in essentially a big pool of petroleum jelly."Don't let anyone else know. The Hooktress is the only one that knows." SilverMist said, closing her eyes. "I'm going to give ScarletStar a piece of my fist..." I snarled.
"Hey, wait. She didn't know what she was doing. Honest." Miranda said, grabbing my wrist. "Okay. Well, I need to get Fury and Xaiver together to figure out what we can do to help her control her powers." I said.
Miranda sighed. "Bring in the X Men." I walked out of the hospital wing and down the hallways to the main office. I did an eye scanner and walked inside.
I walked up to the desk and taped the communicator. "Dr. Xavier" I said into the receiver. It was a circular red dot at the bottom of the blue box. The top had a projector that shone upwards.
"X Men." I saw Mystique's face appear in the hologram. "Hey, I need to talk to Dr. Xaiver." I said. I had only dealt with Mystique a few times, and they hadn't been too pretty.
"He's busy. What's going on?" She asked me. "I have an emergency." "Okay. What is it? Spit it out." She said annoyed. "I need something to control a mutant's powers. She can turn into multiple animals."
"ScarletStar? I've heard about her a bit. Sure, I'll let Xavier know. We'll be right on it as soon as he can." "Okay. An preferably in the shape of a...ugh what is that thing with the black and white halves...""A yin and yang?" She laughed at me.
"Yes. That thing." I said. She hung up.
************************************
I walked into the room where ScarletStar was being held. She was sitting in the corner and wouldn't talk or eat."You do realize that Miranda is okay?" I asked gently. "Yes." She said quietly. "Then why don't you come and get some food?" She didn't say anything back.
"Tell ya what. I'll bring you a present. Maybe that'll cheer you up?" I smiled, knowing exactly what I was going to do.
I swung down the hallways, toward the lab. There was a new "create a costume" machine that was a prototype that they were trying out.
I walked up to the monitor and clicked on it. I knew it had to be something loose because she had to morph into different animals.
I ended up picking a black shirt with a scarlet star and black pants with chains. I also got some fingerless biker gloves just for kicks. She seemed like an darkish punk kid to me. I put in one last order for a red leather jacket.
I quickly hit the start button and watched as the clothes were being created in the one tube on the left.
The machine was in the middle flanked by two giant metal oval shaped pods. I heard a "ding" and walked to the right pod. "Cookies are done!" I laughed. Inside was a near perfect costume.
The jacket was missing. "Crap." I said annoyed. Maybe she came in with one...?
I walked out of the lab, carrying the costume and down the hallway to the front desk. "I need the clothing articles from when ScarletStar came in." I said to the woman working the desk. She was a giant leopard.
"Just a minute." She said, turning around. She pressed the keypad and walked through the huge metal doors.
"What's up, spider two legs?" I sighed and turned around. Deadpool was standing behind me. "Nothing, lethal Santa Claus." I snapped back. How did he even get here!? He's like a freaking teleporter!
