Lana was reading one of her favorite novels by the patio. The sunbeams were caressing her skin while she smoked a cigarette and finished the last chapter of Nabokov's masterpiece, Lolita.
Her late evenings always consisted of the same thing. She was always waiting, waiting for him to come home.
Lana heard the screech of the wheels coming from outside the mansion as she was in the master bedroom. It was not until after midnight that he came back home. Where from? she never dared to ask. But she was always awake to greet him.
''Hi Baby.'' Lana said in her sweet voice while she combed her long locks of dark auburn hair seating in front of her big mirror.
The man in a crisp gray suit approached her and grabbed her hips softly from the back. ''I have good news, Lizzy.'' he almost whispered.
''What is it?'' Lana asked.
''I just got you your first show... at The Rivoli.'' he said with a quirky smile.
Lana Gasped excitedly and Jim started laughing in that deep raspy voice of his. She quickly turned around to hug him ''I don't know how you do it, you're unbelievable.'' She said before kissing him on the lips which after a while escalated into kissing more passionately, and him sticking his tongue inside her mouth.
Jim slowly slid down one of the straps of Lana's black dress and cupped her breast while he kept on kissing her, Lana could taste the whisky on his lips, and felt that he was rather eager.
Suddenly he turned her around facing the mirror once more and without leaving his hand from the inside of her dress, he also cupped her face with his left hand and whispered in her ear ''Listen to me Lizzy. People are going to love you. and Everybody is going to want you. but whenever you look at your doll face in the mirror I want you to remember; you are only Mine.'' he said while putting more pressure on Lana's neck and breast.

Lana put her hand over his, noticing he was probably high, and said almost apologetically ''Baby, you're hurting me.'' Jim swiftly turned her around to face him again but now grabbing her strongly by the wrist and slamming it on the wall, caging her completely.
''You are mine Lizzy, alright?'' he said on a deep demanding voice, just inches from her face, piercing his cerulean blue eyes onto hers. Lana felt scared but she had learned how to deal with his man by now.
''I'd follow you anywhere.'' She said, wishing in her head he would just release her. And he did release her wrist eventually, which was left pulsating from the pain.
''Sorry. I just go crazy for you.'' he said not moving away from her and closing his eyes. Lana wondered if this was actually true.
''If you're going crazy, just take me.'' Lana said seductively sliding her hand from Jim's neck to his chest.
