''Emile...'' Lana said with a shaky voice.
''Yes Lans? what's up.'' Emile said while switching some buttons on the huge mixer inside the recording room.
Lana couldn't help the sob that escaped her mouth. Emile turned to her startled and immediatly hugged her.
''Hey, hey what's wrong?'' he said trying to comfort her.
''My ex-boyfriend is outside of the studio. and I am so scared of what he wants to do to me.''
''What? what do you mean? oh god. hold on I'll tell him to piss off.'' Emile said trying to be a good friend, making his way to the principal door.
''No! you don't know Jim, he's very dangerous. please just stay inside and call Jaime, tell her to not come here.'' Lana begged him.
''Lans what are you talking about? who the fuck is this dude?'' Emile asked.
''I'll tell you. Everything. Just please don't Tell Jaime he's here, she's just going to worry like hell and I need her to be safe.'' Lana told him with a few tears coming out of her eyes.
''Alright, Alright, just calm down Lans. please explain.'' Emile said, locking the main door just in case.
Lana told him everything. She had made really good friends with Emile, so she trusted him with the fact that her and Jaime were actually lovers, and that the boyfriend she left for Jaime was a powerful drug dealer who abused her a while ago, bur still wanted her back.
Emile was completely in shock after Lana told him everything. Even how the police had done a search warrant at Jim's mansion that was apparently failed, because he was still out and about waiting for Lana in the street.
''Okay Lans, I'm calling the police. We just need to make sure if he got away with it.'' Emile said decidedly.
They did and it turned out the police couldn't find evidence to get him in prison, Lana was silently crying her eyes out as emile hung up the phone.
''Lans, it's okay, you can still get a restraining order on him if he abused you. He won't be able to touch you or get near you even because then he'll be arrested. Come on, we're testifying right this instant. I'll get out of the studio and distract him, then take a cab and meet me at the police station downtown in 30 minutes. if he follows my car, I'll just loose him in the traffic jam that happens on Sunset avenue.
