Jaime was able to breath her lilac scent before choking on the relief. "You're okay..."

Lana whispered still holding the tight embrace with Jaime, not wanting to ever let go. "Only thanks to you." Lana said softly. "I just wanted you to know, that baby you're the best."

June 25th 1966, Chateau Marmont.

Lana and Jaime had barely anytime to talk before they were told to go seat at their assigned places for dinner since it was already nightime.

Lana had told Jaime that as soon as she woke up in the hospital, she had asked for her, but the doctor wasn't allowed to bring Jaime over to observation. When Lana went out of observation, the doctor himself gave Richard a call, and Richard, wanting to surprise Jaime, went to the hospital to fetch Lana and payed for a room at the luxurious Chateau Marmont so she could stay there after the party like most of the guests would.

There were about 40 guests that took a seat in the long table that was beautifully adorned with candles and fancy silverware for the dinner before the actual party. Lana had slipped a spare key for her room inside Jime's hand before both of them sat on the table.

Lana's seat was right in front of Jaime, who secretly hoped both of them would be seating side to side. She didn't want to leave her side after the heartfelt hug they shared moments ago. Richard, who was seating at the far end of the table stood up and started giving his welcoming speech.

''Hello everybody, Good night. I am so thrilled you are here tonight at Fader's launching party. It has been a really hard work full of passion and dedication since we started four months ago, and now it's finally happening!'' Richard said excitedly and everybody clapped.

He continued. ''I have so many thanks to give before we start with our wonderful dinner and party...'' Richard kept on talking, but Jaime who was attentively listening before, couldn't focus anymore as she felt Lana's leg grazing on her own from under the table. Now the only thing she could hear was her own fast heartbeat.

Not taking her gaze off of Richard to be discrete she continued trying to focus on what he was saying, until he mentioned her name. ''....thanks to my wonderful art director, Jaime King!''

Jaime snapped from her thoughts and quickly stood up and smiled to the crowd and Richard as everybody gave her an applause. Jaime seated again and everybody stopped clapping, but Lana kept lingering her green eyes on her. When she felt Lana's stare, she locked eyes with the singer, who smiled at Jaime and then bit her lower lip seductively.

Holy Fucking Hell. Jaime thought as she felt her whole body go warm and her pulse go throught the roof. She finished her whole glass of wine as everybody started eating their food once Richard's speech was over. Lana was still unable to keep her eyes off her, giving her a lustful look that made Jaime weak to her knees, but somehow she couldn't break the stare contest either.

A Burning desire suddenly took over her. Jaime abruptly stood up from her seat and looked at Richard. ''I'm sorry Rich I am not feeling very well, I think I'm going up to my room until it passes.''

''But darling you barely touched your food... maybe it was that wine?'' Richard said a bit concerned.

''Maybe..., excuse me.'' Jaime said apologetically to the guests and quickly walked out of the poolside patio were the dining area was located to head to the rooms, Lana's Room, her nervoussness eating her away, but also full of expectation. She unlocked the room with the key Lana had given her, and as soon as she entered she lit up a cigarette to help with her nerves.
