July 26th 1966, Los Angeles.
Jaime woke up very early today, Friday, in her small guest house. She smiled when she looked at the Auburn haired beauty sleeping peacefully next to her.
Lana had moved in to her small guest house in Santa Clarita almost two weeks ago, and both had been inseparable every afternoon after work, enjoying their summer with simplicity. Having walks on the beach, reading together in Richard's huge garden, drinking summer wine and smoking parliament cigarettes while having long talks on their small terrace. Everything was absolutely perfect.
How unbelievable it was that a month and a half ago, Jaime was completely heartbroken and suffering from anxiety back in New York. Now she could swear she had never felt more full and happy in her life.
Jaime got up from the bed on her tiptoes trying not to wake up Lana and after putting on her silk robe, she headed to the small kitchen. She wasn't the best cook but she managed to prepare a couple of greek-style omelettes and some coffee, she put everything on a tray. She also grabbed her polaroid camera from one of her drawers, and when she returned back to the room she saw the older girl awakened smiling at her.
"I didn't mean to wake you." Jaime said returning the smile and placing the tray on the table next to the bed.
"You didn't, I felt in my sleep you weren't next to me." Lana said and grabbed Jaime's hand and pulled oh her so she landed next to her on the bed and then she gave her a tender kiss.
"Wait! I want to capture this moment." Jaime said pecking Lana on the lips again and quickly getting up from the bed, grabbing her polaroid camera.
"Mhm.., of me naked in your bed?" Lana teased.
"Exactly." Jaime said with a smirk. And snapped a picture of Lana. The photo revealed instantly. How beautiful she looked just like that.

"Those omelettes look so good." Lana said
"There's still a couple hours before we I have to go to work and you to the studio, so I thought why not have breakfast in bed?"
Both girls ate their breakfast and got ready for their separate days at work. Jaime would be at her usual office with Richard working on Fader, while Lana would go to have another studio session with Emile Haynie. Since both of them hit it off very well they decided to work on some of Lana's songs and get them ready for her new record.
Jaime drove Lana to the studio in downtown LA and she headed west to go to work.
As soon as Lana made her way into the studio she was greeted by Emile, who had seen her a couple of times before. She had played her a few of the songs she intended to have in her new album, the ones that weren't produced yet and some other demos.
