June 21st, 1966. Los Angeles
After the last phone call Jaime and Lana had, the auburn haired girl decided to send Jaime a copy of her first record on the mail, the same record which unfortunately, got shelved two years ago.
Jaime received it first thing the next morning and decided to listen to it while working on some projects at home. After a few songs go by, the younger girl is asking herself if she is enamored with Lana's voice or her lyrics. Maybe both. It's like she'd never heard something so raw. This song specifically, is talking about cocaine. "Yayo, yeah you..."
She is quite fascinated by the dark background Lana portrays in her songs. A million questions pop into her head to ask the singer next time she see's her. This are not just songs, it's poetry almost.
Jaime smiles to herself in thought of the other girl. She can't wait for that brunch she promised Lana after her birthday.

On the west side of Beverly Hills, Lana approached the marble table and snorts the first white Line with the help of a hundred-dollar bill. Afterwards, Jim quickly takes two hits of the same powder.

Nothing more beautiful than a hundred dollar bill, her man and those white lines. Then why is she feeling so hollow inside?
They exited the house and get to one of the fanciest clubs in Los Angeles, where they drank, talked with Jim's friends and ate dinner for Lana's birthday. It's a Jazz club and Lana was happily listening to the band play, not saying much throughout the dinner.
''Lizzy, what's the matter. You've been silent all night.'' Jim said with a stiff voice holding his cuban cigar.
''Oh, it's nothing babe, I'm just enjoying the band playing.'' Lana said not looking at Jim and playing with her left earring.
Jim didn't take his gaze off of Lana. He couldn't contain himself anymore, he had been thinking this over the past couple of weeks but didn't say anything. He wanted to trust Lana, but let's face it, Jim didn't trust anyone, and by the way Lana had been acting with him lately, he was pretty sure she could be cheating on him.
The sole though of this burned his insides with anger. No one would ever take what was his, and that included his precious Lizzy.
After few more songs from the band, Lana decided she wanted to go home. It was an hour past midnight and as they drove silently through sunset boulevard on the back of Jim's car, Lana lit a cigarette. She was very consumed in her thoughts lately, and always wishing to be somewhere else, but she never spoke a word of what was in that precious mind of hers. Jim bent down to retrieve something from under the seat. it was a big squared velvet box. Lana looked at him, guessing what it was.

''Happy 28th Birthday.'' Jim said with his signature cold voice while opening the box, revealing a beautiful diamond necklace with a cross. He put the necklace around Lana's neck, it suited her perfectly.
''You didn't have to.'' Lana said, giving him a little smile.
Jim grabbed her hand and kissed it, then the driver parked on the big mansion and he dismissed him right away. Both Jim and Lana stepped into the mansion and made their way up to the master bedroom. Lana went straight to the bathroom to change into something more comfortable, Jim got yet another drink and snorted his third line of cocaine of the night.
''I got more lines waiting for you Lizzy.'' Jim told her.
''I am alright baby, thanks.'' Lana shouted from inside the bathroom. The truth was she was getting tired of the white powder, it was making her feel really tense and gave her headaches. Besides she started wondering why was she consuming it in the first place.
A few minutes later, Lana exited the bedroom wearing nothing more than her panties and a white t-shirt. Jim eyed her instantly and approached her, but when he tried to kiss her, she just stepped out of his reach.
''I am tired, another time.'' she just said turning away from him.
''Lizzy, What the hell is up with you? you've been in a really weird mood lately and I am getting tired of it.'' Jim said raising his voice.
''I just feel a little sick from the champagne and the coke that's all.'' she said dismissively.
''Thats bullshit. I am getting tired of your games, tell me the truth!'' Jim shouted getting close to Lana and grabbing her by the arm. ''If you are seeing someone else I swear to god...!''
Lana finally yelled getting tired.''I just don't want to fuck you tonight Jim!'' she said angrily running out of patience and setting her free from Jim's grip.
''Well, you are going to fucking do it anyway!'' Jim yelled and threw lana with all his might into the bed. The girl, trying to fight him, turned around to push him, but she was unsuccessful, as he bashed her head into the bed once more, then gripped to her arm to turn her around violently now facing him. He held her by her arms.
''What the fuck are you doing?!'' Lana screamed helplessly trying to escape his grip, but he was too strong, and a few tears started to pour out of her eyes while the panic invaded her body. He had always been a bit too rough with her, but this had never happened before. Jim was exerting fumes of anger.
''I told you once before Lizzy and I am not going to say it again, you are only mine!'' Jim said loudly while removing Lana's underwear.
''Jim Stop! Stop! Get the fuck off of me!'' Lana kept on screaming while digging her long nails in Jim's arms, but he was far too strong for Lana.
The rest was nublated by a wave of screams and thrusts. It all happened rather quickly, Jim didn't took long, but that didn't make it any worst. Lana was left traumatized with tears running down her cheeks. The silence in the room was now deafening and she just heard Jim's faded voice in the background as he exited the room.
''I shouldn't have done that. But you made me do it, keep that in mind if you ever try to fuck someone else.'' he said while shutting the door to Lana's bedroom.
Leaving the girl alone in the room with her sobs, wishing she was spending her birthday with someone else. Wishing someone else could hold her tight right now.
