The wind blew away Jaime's hair and the hard screeching of the metallic wheels of the subway making a stop made her snap out of her thoughts. She blinked fast and got inside the train when the doors opened. The crowds where not good for her distraction. They just made her feel more alone and her thoughts would often drift her into space, she was feeling numb most of the time.

That's why she would spend anytime she could with her friends and take any excuse she could to live whatever trill she could experience, the riskier, the better. Anything that would make her feel alive again was worth trying.

So yeah, she tried a few new drugs from time to time. One night she did MDMA for the second time, but swore not to use it again because her trip turned out way different than her first time. She had felt incredibly scared and unhappy, not euphoric and safe like Last time with... Lana.

It took her three months to get out of her downward spiral after one night she heard 'blue jeans' on the radio, Thinking 'Wow, Lana must have gotten her record deal by now.'

Jaime refused to feel sorry for herself any longer and eventually got back on her feet knowing Lana was thriving on her own. Jaime got a great promotion at Taschen, one that allowed her to work freelance and get a bigger and nicer apartment in the SoHo area.

One day in the midsts of moving, as she packed her books and basically all her life in boxes, she spotted a tape in her bookshelf.

What the hell is this? She wondered, and went to her small television and VHS to play it. The film started displaying an orange-yellow summer sky and then the sweetest voice Jaime had ever heard saying; "Remember, I'll always love you, Bye."
