Daughter of a Myth

Chapter 12

I shot awake.  Forgetting where I was I started to panic.  I looked around and saw that I was in my cabin on my bed.  I was still painting and sweating uncontrollably.  I got up and started to pack  my bag for the Quest.  I grabbed my bag a started to put my stuff in it.  I put clothes, two bags of ambrosia, some necture, and anything else I could find that would help on the quest. After everything was packed I got dressed.  I changed into skinny jeans, with a black and blue tank top.  I grabbed my black leather jacket and put that on before leaving.  Grabbing my combat boots I put them on and then put my daggers in my boot.  I left my cabin with my bow and quiver and my backpack on my back.  Heading to cabin nine. When I got there I knocked on the door till a boy opened it. "Can I help you?" he asked me
"Um yes.  Someone told me you can change a weapon into things," I said
"Yes I can," he said
"Well, could you change my bow and quiver into a necklace?" I asked
"Yep," he said as I handed him my stuff before he left I asked one last question
"Could you maybe get that done a little faster for me?" I asked
"Sure," he said before leaving
        I went and sat on a rock that I found in the training arena.  I found a stick on the ground and started to draw.  The memory of the dream still fresh on my mind.  I don't know how long I had been sitting there but I soon found out.  While I was drawing someone came and tapped me on my shoulder.  I spun around with the stick in my hand.  When I looked at who it was it was only the boy.
"Hey it's just me" he stated
"Sorry you startled me," I said
"Sorry.  Here is this I finished it," he said handing me a necklace that had a bow on it.
"Thank you so much," I said
"Ya.  I don't think we introduced ourselves" he said, "I'm Shane son of Hephaestus."
"I'm Willow daughter of Zeus," I said holding out my hand
"It's nice to meet you," he said shaking my hand
"Likewise.  Well thanks again I really appreciated this" I said
"Of course," he said
"Well I have to go," I said starting to walk off
"Bye I hope we can talk again soon," he said
"The Same bye," I said leaving
         I left for the stables as he left for his cabin no doubt to go back to sleep.  When I got to the stables I saw Midnight was gone and her stable was wide open. 
"Midnight were are you?" I asked getting no reply from her
"Who are you talking to?" Percy said as he walked over to the stable that had a black horse in it.
"It that yours," I asked trying to avoid his question
"Yep this is blackjack," he said
"Hello blackjack," I asked
"Hello miss Willow" he replied
"Which pegasus are you taking?" he asked
"She's coming," I said.  Just then Midnight landed behind Percy.  I walked over to her as Percy turned looking at her.  His mouth was hanging open.  I grabbed her saddle putting it on her. 
           When I was doing this neither of us had realized that Lucas walked in.  He came over and let out his pegasus.  His was tan with a black main and tail. 
"Hey guys," he said causing us both to jump. 
"Hey Lucas," Percy said
"Hi," I said
"Are you guys ready to go?" he asked
"Yes" I replied
"Okay because we should probably leave," Lucas said
"Okay but to were" Percy asked
        My mind wandered back to my dream were I was standing by a mountain.  I thought about what the mountain looked like.  It was very tall and I couldn't think about what else it looked like.  Then a voice came in my head.  "Mount Othrys, you must go there and hurry time is running out," it said.  I turned to the boys.
"I know where we are going," I said
"Were," Percy asked
"Mount Othrys, Its in San Francisco," I said
"How do you know?" Percy asked
"I had a dream about it," I said
"Okay well let's go then," Lucas said
          We had been flying for a while now.  It had been a long time just flying in silence with nothing but the traffic under us.  There was a good side to that I could think of whatever I wanted.  Time after time my mind kept coming back to the dream that I had.  The laughter that Orion gave.  The army that we needed to fight.  Would we all survive would there be death for us.     
"Whats wrong miss?" Midnight asked
"I was just thinking about the quest, and if we will all make it out alive," I said
"I don't know if you will all make it out alive but I do know that you should have hope," she said
"How can I?" I asked
"Just believe everything will work out fine," she said
"Ok, thanks," I said
"Of course," she said
         I looked up at the sky that we were flying in.  The sun had set and it was night.  I looked around at all the lights that were on.  There was the big city and then there was a forest next to it.  I looked in front of me to see the boys were even paying attention. 
"We should stop and land," I said
"Why?" Lucas asked
"Because we all need some sleep and the pegasus' need some rest from flying all day," I said
"Ok," Percy said.  We began to land in the forest.  When we landed we moved to an open area in the forest and then chose to set up camp there.  I reached into my backpack and pulled out a blanket that I decided to bring.  I laid on the ground and fell straight to sleep.  When I was asleep it came again.  The dream.
