Daughter of a Myth

Chapter 20

Sorry I haven't updated in so long.  School has been taking up a lot of my time and there has been a lot of other stuff going on.  I hope that this chapter makes up for not updating in a long time.

I would love it if you guys would vote on my story and coment on things that you like of things that I should do more often or that you like.  The you for reading I hope you like the story.

I left for lunch when I got there I found Percy. He was sitting at his table yet another day alone. He was eating pizza. When he spotted me he got up and walked over to me.

"Hey," he said

"Hi," I said. He looked at me and saw the necklace.

"How do you like it?" he asked

"Yes I love it," I said, "Thank you so much"

"So...." he said

"So...." I copied

"How was last night?" he questioned

"Oh..um....It was..nice" I stuttered out. My face was probably as red as a tomato.

"Good," he said

"What is it?" I questioned

"Its just...the kiss," he said whispering the last thing

"I'm sorry I don't know what came over me," I said looking away

"No, it was fine. I actually kinda liked it" he said.

As we continued to talk I sat down at my table while Percy went to his table and got his food. He then came back over to my table and sat down. We continued to talk about many different things that were happening and that had happened.

Once lunch ended I walked to my first class. When I was flying on Laila I told her what had happened and asked her what she thought I should do about it. She told me to be myself and I couldn't go wrong by doing that. We flew around the camp as I looked at the everything that was below us. The best part was when we were over the forest because I could see a lake with a small waterfall in it and it was so beautiful. I told myself that I would have to go and swim there one day and maybe ever just read there.

My mind kept wandering to what happened with Percy. The kiss was still fresh in my mind. Every time I thought of it I'm sure my face lit up like a tomato.

We had been flying around the camp for a long time now so I told Laila that it was time for us to land and for me to go to my next class so I wasn't late. Again.

When we landed I hoped off of Laila. I led her into her stable and started to take everything off of her. I grabbed the saddle, the blanket that was under the saddle, and all the other stuff. When I had finally got the last thing off of her I said my goodbyes and then headed to the area for my next class.

I realized that my daggers were in my cabin so I headed there fast and grabbed them. Once I had then I hid them in my combat boots and then headed to the area. When I got there Percy was waiting for me already holding his sword. He saw me and started to head over to where I was.
