Chapter 16

I was standing in the middle of the camp, but there was no one here. I walked to the training arena, but once I got there again there was no one. Next, I walked to the dinner pavilion, and the big house, strawberry fields, and the cabins no one. The last place I was going to look was the hill with Thalia's tree. As soon as I got there I froze. Surrounding the tree was every camper, and they were dead. 
I ran to the oracle to see if she was there. When I got there she was sitting on the ground. When she saw me her eyes turned green and green smoke began to spill out of her mouth.
"What do you what to know?" she asked
"What am I meant to do? What is the reason for all this?" I asked
"You shall find you care most about,
the truth shall be out
and you shall take a break," she told me
"What does that mean?" I asked
"You'll find out" with that everything fades
When I opened my eyes I was in a white room. I turned around but there was nothing in the room. Then a man appeared. My father Zeus.
"Hello father," I said
"Hello," he said
"Why am I here? and where is here?" I asked
"You are dead," he told me
"What!" I yelled
"You died when you closed your eyes, but you can return", he said
"How?" I asked
"Simple you must want to," he said
"I do want to, but then why can't I go back?" I asked
"Some part of you doesn't want to go back. All of you must want to go back not just a bit" he said
"How do I do that?" I asked
"You have to find that out yourself," he said
"What does that mean?" I asked
"You will know," he said before turning and walking away
"Wait what do I do?" I asked but he was already gone
I fell to the ground crying. What do I do? I kept asking myself. I just laid there crying all my anger and sadness away. When I stopped I stood up and began to look around hoping I could find something or someone. As I walked around I found nothing, no one.
"Hello child" Someone said behind me
"Hello," I said turning around to see Artemis
"Why are you still here?" she asked
"I don't know how to get back," I told her
"Simply get yourself to want to go back," she said
"But how do I do that?" I asked
"Oh I see," she said
"Can you help me?" I asked her
"I can give you guidance but that's it," she said
"What do I do?" I asked
"Think of yourself, and all the things that you miss and that you loved in that world. If you do this you will want to go back and your body will do it. That is all I can say. Good luck." she said
After she said that she was gone. I sat down and thought of myself. I thought about what I looked like and what I had accomplished. I thought about Marry and Kat, but also Percy. The thought of Percy made my heart leap. I thought of when we meet and when we danced. He would be the person I missed the most. I wanted to go back and tell him I loved him.
At that thought, My body began to burn. My sides hurt. My head was pounding, and my stomach felt as if someone was twisting and sword through it. Then everything went black.
I opened my eyes to be blinded. When my vision cleared I saw that I was in an older building. There were windows letting in bright sunlight. Out of the windows was the camp. I turned to see Percy sitting in a chair. There was a cup with a liquid in it. I grabbed it and drank. It tasted like Marry's oatmeal raisin cookies. Once I finished drinking it I got up and headed to the bathroom.
Even though my head was pounding and my body hurt I still headed there. When I got there and looked in the mirror I stopped dead in my tracks. Staring back at me was a girl with black hair down to my lower back. My eyes were electric blue but with silver speckles in them. I got dressed in a blue tank top, and short shorts.
I walked over to where Percy was and tapped him on the shoulder and when he wouldn't wake up I grabbed his shoulders and shook him until he moved.
"Percy," I said
"Hm" he responded still asleep
"Hm, what?" I said.
"Willow!" he yelled as he opened his eyes and before engulfing me in a hug.
"In the flesh" I stated
"You scared me so much," he said
"Why?" I asked
"You have been in a coma for a month," he said
"A month?" I said not believing him
"Yes," he said
"How long have you been here?" I asked
"Every night," he said
"Why?" I asked wondering if he loved me.
"Because..I..Um...Like you" he said blushing
"Oh really?" I asked
"Yes" he responded
"Well I like you too," I said
"Realy?" he asked
"Yes," I said. He began to lean over to me.
"Wh-" I began but was cut off when his lips connected with mine. He kissed me was all I could think. I was to shocked to do anything. He pulled away but I pulled him back and kissed him. My stomach erupted in butterflies as we kissed in perfect sync.
"Wow" I stated
"Sorry," he said
"For what that was great," I said
"Okay. Well you should get some sleep" he said
"Ok," I said before he stood up and kissed my forehead and left.
