A.N. This quote doesn't really tie in with the chapter but I just think it's great advice. So yea.

"You won't realize the distance you've walked until you take a look around and realize how far you've been." -Unknown

Chapter 11

When Kennan finally realized who I was he asked in a harsh whisper "What are you doing here?" He gripped my arms so tightly I felt like my blood flow was going to stop

"I could ask you the same thing." I said. I was so glad to see him.

"No you can't be here."

"I thought you were going to leave and go through the dome. That's what you told me you would do. And what I wanted you do to."

"Look I did do that. But Jessica came and found me. We came up with a plan. To save you but it isn't going to work if you're out here." He stared at me with his adoring eyes. "How did you get out anyways?" I didn't respond. Just stared at him. I couldn't even grasp the concept that he was standing right in front if me. I never thought I'd see him again. "Oh I don't care." He grabbed me in a tight hug. "I'm glad your safe." I hugged him back.

"Me too." I said. We felt so right together like we were made for each other. For those seconds that passed my worries went away. I didn't think about the Cloud or the Seam. For the first time I wasn't scared.

"Rehyn, you know how much I love you right?" he asked finally letting go.

"Yes." I said smiling.

"That's why I need you to go back."

"What? Why?"

"Please. I trust you. Please trust me."

"Ok." I said with a hint of worry. I did trust him. It was Jessica I didn't trust. Then he kissed me. It was just a short quick kiss but it sufficed.

I turned around to go and started to walk, but right before I was so far I couldn't keep his hand in mine, I stopped. I couldn't believe I was doing this but I turned around and the minute his hand left mine I regretted letting go. His hand felt so right in mine. I couldn't give that up again.

I turned back around to look at him. He nodded his head and squeezed my hand. Then he mouthed "Trust me." I nodded at him.

Once our connection broke as I ran away. I didn't know how long until I could feel his palm in my again. I hoped it wouldn't be that long.

Do you ever have those memories that where you aren't sure if it actually happened or was just a dream?

Well that's how I feel right know. For the two days I waited in silence trying to remember everything that had happened but I just couldn't.

No one came to visit me. Not Ryan or Jessica. It was to risky. I didn't blame them but I did get lonely by myself for two days.

As I lay on my bed looking up at the ceiling and fiddling with a pen I found I heard two men come in. I didn't look up. I knew they were here to take me.

I actually wasn't scared, I was kind of happy that it would all be over soon and I wouldn't have to try to survive. But the only thing I wasn't ready to do was go without saying goodbye to Ryan or Jessica or Kennan one last time.

The men hand cuffed me and told me to get up. I wasn't going to argue. I didn't need to. "Where are you taking me?" I asked innocently.

"Torrent has decided to not be so harsh on you." The man to my right said. He had a deep voice and was really skinny. "Your lucky. Most prisoners are whipped then hanged. But not you." Yea lucky I thought. "We are taking you to the gallows." We kept walking. In the hallway a bit before me and to the right I saw a shadow of something. I didn't raise or show my suspicion. It was probably just a worker.
