Chapter 6- Revelations

AN: I'm so sorry that I haven't updated but here is another chapter!!

I woke up to Kyle screaming and I groaned flipping the pillow over my head. I heard my door open and I threw the pillow at it. 

"Look at Auntie, she wasn't very smart last night and she doesn't feel very well right now,"Julian said in his baby voice and I didn't open my eyes but from how he was talking there was a pretty good chance that he had Kyle in his arms. 

"Julian stop yelling,"I whined as I pulled the covers over my head like a seven year old who doesn't want to go to wake up in the morning.  

"I'm not yelling babe. It's 1pm and you have to get up. I have to go workout and you have to watch Kyle,"I groaned again but this time I sat up in bed. Kyle's face was red from crying but Julian seemed to have calmed him down. 

"Fine, give me 20 minutes,"Julian walked out of the room and I stood up slowly as the room started spinning around me. I drank wayyy to much tequila last night. 

I went into the bathroom turning on the shower. I am hoping that it will help my head from not pounding as much. When I looked at the counter I smiled as Julian had left me a glass of water and some Advil to help with my hangover. 

I stepped into the warm spray of the shower. The heat instantly relaxing my muscles. I shampooed and conditioned my hair not bothering to shave my legs as I would probably be in sweatpants and a Tshirt all day. 

10 minutes later I stepped out of the shower drying off and wrapping a towel around my hair and my body. I opened the door as steam billowed out and walked into the kitchen. 

"Hey Jules, will you pick up some crackers on your way home?"I asked him. He walked into the kitchen and stopped in his tracks when he saw me. 

"Do you have to do that?"he asked and I turned around confused. 

"Do what?"I had no idea what he was talking about and I didn't know why he was confused. 

"Tease me!"he threw his hands up in the air out of frustration and I just giggled. 

"Why does it bother you that I have no clothes on under this towel?" I was biting my lip to keep from laughing as Julian out his hands on the counter and turned around. 

"Dammit! Yes it bothers me. You have a fucking smokin' body Abbi!" Julian yelled and my eyes widened in surprise. I knew that Julian thought I had a good body, but I didn't think that he was THAT attracted to me. 

"I'm sorry that I was teasing you Jules,"I apologized as I went behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist. 

"Mhmmmm Abbi stop babe. You are making it worse,"he moaned and then I realized that It was probably a stupid idea for me to come up behind him and wrap my arms around him all while pressing my body against him with only a towel protecting me. But I could feel his abs through his shirt and I felt my heart speed up. 

I backed up slowly,"I'm going to go finish getting dressed." As I stepped back into my room I sat down on my bed. I shouldn't feel this way about Julian. He's my friend. My really hot and attractive friend. Shit.

An hour later I was dressed in leggings and a patriots Tshirt while playing with Kyle on the floor. Julian should be back in a half an hour and I'm not sure how things are going to go between us. This morning in the kitchen could lead us to many different paths. 

"Babababababa,"Kyle babbled as he tried to grab onto my hair. 

"Who's Auntie Abbi's big boy?" I cooed at him as he smiled at me. I tickled his stomach and he giggled causing me to smile. 

My phone rang with the ringtone set to Addi's contact and I answered it,"Hey." 

"Are you not hungover whatsoever?"she asked me in a quiet tone. If I had to guess it would be because she just woke up. Out of the three of us I think Addi drank the most last night. 

"No not really. I have a slight headache but nothing that bad,"I told her as I pressed the phone between my shoulder and my ear as I picked up Kyle and put him into his vibrating baby seat. 

"I hate you,"she said and I laughed. I walked into the kitchen to get Kyle's bottle. 

"Julian woke me up at 1 and gave me Advil and water. I showered and then he left so that he could get to workouts. He must have brought Kyle to practice earlier,"I put the bottle in the warmer and pressed the button to turn it on. 

"I swear you guys are like a married couple. Kyle just completes the picture,"Addi teased and I bit my lip. 

"Well we had an interesting encounter this morning," Addi fake gasped and I laughed. She was the first one to tell us that we should date and that was back when we first met. 

"Tell me more!" She exclaimed as I pulled the bottle out of the warmer and tested the temperature. 

"Well I showered and then I wrapped a towel around me so that I could walk out in the kitchen. He told me that I was teasing him basically walking around naked and then I went and stood behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist," As I confessed this I walked back in it the living room so that I could feed Kyle. 

"Damn Abs. Were you trying to torture the man?" Addi said and I bit my lip. Kyle started sucking on the bottles nipple and I smiled softly down at him. 

"No, but now I'm confused. There's like ALOT of sexual tension between us now,"I was confused and frustrated. In more than one way. 

"There always has been. It just took you two a while to realize it,"I sighed knowing that she was right. 

"I have to go and put Kyle down, but I will talk to you later," Addi said bye and then I hung up the phone. I put Kyle so that he was resting against my shoulder and started to burp him. 

As Kyle finally let out a burp Julian appeared in the doorway. I put my finger up against my lips to make sure that he stayed quiet. Kyle was almost asleep and I didn't want to have to rock him for 30 minutes to try and get him back to sleep. 

"Do you want me to take him?"Julian asked me and I nodded handing him off. I needed to put the pizza in the oven that I had prepared last night. I'm just glad that I prepped it last night because at this point I'm pretty sure we would have just ordered the out. I preheated the oven and then walked to see how Julian was doing in putting Kyle down. 

I walked down the hallway to where Julian's room was. I stopped in the doorway as I heard Julian talking to Kyle. 

"Your Aunt Abbi is so nice taking care of you when she doesn't feel well bud. She was in a very......interesting mood last night when she came home with Tom. She wanted to tease your Uncle Jules. That wasn't very nice of her now was it,"Julian was laying in the bed with one arm behind his head and the other on Kyle's back. Kyle was laying on Julian's chest with his little eyes closed. 

I was about to interrupt their moment when I heard Julian continue to talk,"Can you keep a secret? I think your Aunt Abbi is very pretty and I like her very much. I don't think she knows this yet. She's already turned Uncle Julian down once and he doesn't want to make it weird between him and your aunt. Alright buddy, I think you have heard Uncle Jules talk enough. Let's get you to bed,"Julian sat up and put Kyle in the pack n play that he had set up. I wanted to move but I couldn't. Julian liked me? I knew he thought I was pretty as he had told me on many occasions but I thought our friendship was platonic. 

Julian started walking towards the door and then he stopped when he saw me,"How much did you hear?" 

"Enough,"I told him simply as I walked towards him. My body was totally running on emotions and not logic. I stopped right in front of him and rested my hands on his chest. He looked down at me in confusion and hope. I knew what he wanted and for once we were on the same page. I stood on my tip toes and fused my lips to his. Finally getting back what I have been missing all of these years.
