Chapter 9- Telling the Friends

AN: I am sooooo sorry that it has been a while! This chapter is super short, but I figured you would at least want an update! 

"Shhhhhh be quiet,"I heard someone say as I opened my eyes. I felt a heavy weight resting against my stomach and against my legs.

I saw Addi and Gisele standing at the foot of the bed with their phones out.

"Go away,"Julian mumbled into my neck which he had buried his face in.

I rolled over and looked at them,"What time is it?" My voice was scratchy from sleep.

"It's around 5:30,"Addi responded. Julian and I had slept for a solid 2 1/2 hours.

"Okay, give us a minute and we will be right out. Is Kyle up?" I rubbed my eyes and nudged Julian who groaned again.

"I think Danny went and grabbed him as soon as we walked in. We figured you didn't want him to sleep much longer so he gets to bed tonight,"Gisele said and then her and Addi left the room.

"Why did we agree to host this dinner again?"Julian asked me as I sat up and he wrapped his arms around my mid section.

"Because we wanted to announce to our friends that we finally got together,"I yawned and pulled my hair into a loose pony tail. I would probably help Julian prep dinner and then go change while he was cooking the burgers.

"I'm pretty sure they already know after they found us sleeping in the same bed," I rolled my eyes and peeled his arms from around be getting out of the bed.

"We still have to cook them dinner even if they do know that we are dating." I then left the room and entered the kitchen where Gisele and Addi were opening a bottle of wine. I rubbed my eyes and then went to the fridge to pull out the hamburger meat and the seasonings I would need.

"Abs you have a nice hickey on the side of your neck. Did you and Julian have any 'fun' last night after Danny left?"Addi asked as she wiggled her eyebrows.

I rolled my eyes and then answered,"No, this was from when Danny walked in on us."

"What a shame. Does you sister pick up Kyle tomorrow or later tonight?" I started seasoning the meat and then working it in to patties as Julian entered the kitchen in a Puma tee shirt and basketball shorts slung low on his hips.

"Tomorrow morning. Speaking of that, Babe do we want to bring Kyle back or do you want me to text Kim and double check the time that she is picking him up,"I asked Julian as he grabbed a water out of the fridge for him and a bottle for Kyle.

"

"Whatever you want to do. We have an off day tomorrow. If you want to bring him back we can go shopping afterwards or go to the beach or something,"Julian suggested and got out a plate to put the burgers on.

"We can do that,"Julian nodded and then left to start up the grill. It was defiantly going to be an interesting night judging on how Addi and Gisele were looking at me.

30 minutes later we were all seated around the table eating our burgers. I had Kyle on my lap and was picking at my food content with just holding my nephew.

"So are you guys going to tell us officially or are we just supposed to assume that you are dating?"Danny asked Julian and I. I nodded at Julian as his face broke into a grin.

"We are officially dating,"Julian announced as he rested his hand on my thigh. Everyone broke into cheers and congratulated us. I couldn't help but smile. I was so happy that our friends were supporting us even though I had no doubt in my mind that they would.

"Have you guys told Coach yet?"Tom asked us as he sipped his water. He and Gisele had both had a burger without the bun because of their crazy diet. They both don't drink much, but the reason that Tom is probably doing as well as he is is because of their food lifestyle.

Julian's eyes got comically wide as they looked at me,"Do we have too?" I laughed as did the girls but the guys agreed with how scared Julian was.

"Yes babe. He's like my second father and he will be pissed if he find out we hid it from him,"I said as Kyle grabbed at the ends of my hair. I smiled down at him.

"Coach is going to kill you both,"Rob said and Julian groaned and scrubbed his hand over his face.

"He can't kill you yet. You are our number one receiver this season. If anything he will wait until the offseason,"Tom joked and I just laughed as did Addi and Gisele.

"Thanks a lot Brady,"Danny whined. The boys always joke about who is the best receiver. Rob always says that at least he knows he is the best tight end.

"I'm just saying that we need Julian and that Bill won't kill him yet,"Tom replied as he took another nite of his burger.

"I'm sure Bill won't kill him. He might try to, but he won't follow through. He loves coaching the Patriots way too much to go to jail for murder,"I told the table as I leaned into Julian. Kyle reached his up towards Julian and Julian picked him up. I watched as he made faces at Kyle as Kyle smirked back and tried to imitate those faces.

"Before we lose Julian and Abbi into baby land, what is the plan to tell Bill?"Addi asked. I thought about it and looked at Julian, he just shrugged.

"I don't know, we can drop Kyle off and tell him tomorrow instead of going shopping or going to the beach,"I suggested and Julian shook his head.

        "We will tell him on Monday, tomorrow I am taking you out on a date." I grinned and Gisele and Abby made an aw sound. I pecked Julian on the lips and turned back to my food. I am so lucky to have this man in my life.
