Danny left a half an hour after dinner sensing something was off with us despite him walking in on us making out. I started doing the dishes while Julian checked on Kyle. I was nervous for the conversation that we are about to have. I never want to lose the friendship that I have with Julian because it means so much to me.

"Abs,"Julian said as he reentered the kitchen. I dried off my hand with a hand towel and turned around leaning against the counter.

"Where do we start?"I asked him playing with the towel that had just soaked up the moisture on my hands.

"I really like you Abbi. I have liked you as more than a friend since day 1. I have tried to keep those feelings at bay for so long, but this past month or so it has been harder than usual and I don't know why,"When Julian said this his eyes expressed so much emotion.

"I like you too Jules. I have always known that we have chemistry, but I didn't want to risk our friendship. I love what we have and I knew that if we ever broke up that it would suffer,"I confessed.

"But what do we do know. I am going to be totally honest, the box has been opened and I don't know if I am going to be hide my feelings again,"I nodded agreeing with him and I bit down on my lip in thought.

"So where do we want to go from here?"I asked him and Julian took a step towards me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I have an idea, Abbi Belichick, will you be my girlfriend?"I nodded and he dipped his head to kiss me. When we both pulled away I couldn't help but think that I am never going to want to let him go.

(Next Morning)

"Babe, did you grab the sunscreen?"I called out as I put Kyle in his car seat. Julian was able to call and get us tickets. He wouldn't tell me how he got them, but I knew it was most likely from someone on the team that he knew.

"Yes Abbi. It's in the diaper bag,"He came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist,"Calm down. It's going to be all good." I nodded and closed my eyes. I was extremely tired because right after Julian and I had our discussion Kyle woke up. He was fussy all night and Julian and I both stayed up with him.

"And you told my uncle that you definitely weren't going to be in today?"Julian and Danny didn't have to attend training camp as much because of injuries that they both have had in the past. Uncle Bill makes them go in some days, but the boys are there nearly every day normally to help out the younger receivers.

"Yeah, but I might go in later tonight. I don't know yet, but he's not expecting me today. I think that after the game we need to nap,"I nodded in agreement and then let out a yawn.

"Little man you kept me and Uncle Julian up all night last night,"Kyle just grinned at us and I laughed.

"Alright are we ready to go? We are gonna have to take your jeep though"Julian said as he picked up Kyle's car seat.

"Yeah that's fine,"I grabbed the diaper bag, handed Julian the keys to my jeep and followed him out the door. Turning to lock up the apartment while Julian walked out to the car to get Kyla situated.

I walked towards the car and slipped my Maui Jim sunglasses on my face. I got into the passenger seat and threw my purse in the back.

"So the game isn't until 1, but I told my guy that we would be there early so we could hang out before the game,"Julian said this as he started my jeep and started backing up.
