I stretched and yawned and curled back up into my sleeping position. Wow I really had an amazing dream last it was- Hang on it wasn’t a dream was it? I shot up in bed and looked at the ring on my finger. No it definitely wasn’t a dream.

I saw Liam peering round the door, leaning on the door frame smirking.

“Happy?”

“Hell yeah!”

He laughed. “I’m glad you are!”

I looked around my surroundings, slightly puzzled.

“Liam?”

“Yeah?”

“How did I get back here? We were on the beach the last time I remember...”

“Yeah you fell asleep on me so I carried you back.”

I smiled, could he get any sweeter? He had changed so much from his former high school self. In high school he was always one of the really popular, fit guys who basically took it for granted and was a complete player. Of course he was still very good looking, in fact possibly even better but he wasn’t some cocky cheater anymore.

“I guess we should tell people today right?”

“Yeah well Aria knows because she made me swear that I would tell her as soon as I knew your answer. Although I think she already knew the answer, same as I kinda did.”

I raised an eyebrow, mocking him. “Oh you did, did you?”

He put his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. “Well yeah I think the fact that you were putting Haribo rings and hula hoops on your finger kinda gave it away.”

I rolled my eyes, cringing inside. “Well who do you know it was you I wanted to marry?” I said looking up at him seriously.

“Uh...well...” He stuttered before going silent.

I laughed. “Wow have I actually managed to silence the famous Liam Walker with one of my come backs?”

He nudged me hard. “Wow I must be getting good at this!” I said smugly. “Well I suppose I did learn from the pro didn’t I?” I said hugging him tightly.

“Yeah I guess so. I mean your dad is pretty witty.”

I laughed and nudged him in the ribs. “I meant you! You idiot.”

“I know you did.”

“Talking about your parents we had better get back in that car and drive that lovely journey back to Hereport.” He said sarcastically.

I groaned. “Do we have to?”

“Well yeah I mean we’ve been engaged like for a day and-“

“A day?” I said looking at the clock it was only seven o’clock. “Liam it’s only been two hours!”

“No a day and two hours. It’s Sunday babe!”

I laughed he was obviously joking right? “So you’re telling me that I’ve slept for a whole day.”

“Believe it or not yes!”

“Why didn’t you wake me?”

“Well you looked really peaceful and happy.”

I chuckled quietly and shook my head. Then frowned realising that Liam was wearing the t-shirt that I had been wearing yesterday. I looked down to see what I was wearing, I was wearing my pyjamas. I honestly do not remember putting these on. I must be losing it I guess.
