“BECKS! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS!” Aria practically screamed as we were greeted by her at the door or rather strangled by her at the door.

“Thanks Ar-“ I managed to choke out.

I inhaled a large breath when she finally stopped hugging me like a boa constrictor.

“Right so hen parties.... where do you want to go?” she said as we sat down on the sofa.

“Well I hadn’t really thought be honest Aria! We’ve been engaged for less than two days and you’re already asking about the hen party!” I laughed. “Well first things first will you be my maid of honour?” I don’t know why I asked to be honest...I knew the answer. I’d always said that she would be my maid of honour if I got married.

“Yeah! Of course I will you know that! Who are the other bridesmaids?” She asked positively. My heart sank thinking about Cassie. Liam sighed heavily as well and it wasn’t long before Aria picked up on it. “What’s wrong? What did I say?”

“No you didn’t say anything but...” I said in a subdued manner.

“My brother’s dating Cassie and he kinda took it upon himself to say that she could be one of the bridesmaids.” Liam added disappointedly.

“You’re joking right?” Aria said looking between us both for us to tell her it was a joke.

We both shook our heads. “What the hell is Tony doing with her?” Lee asked suddenly becoming part of the conversation.

“Yeah why is he with her?”

“I have no idea Aria...he’s mad. I mean he knows what she was like when she was with me and now he’s being a complete idiot by making the same mistake as I did. Worse even!”

“Well let’s forget about that now. I’ve honestly had enough of hearing about her today. Seriously if she does one thing then that’s it she’s off the bridesmaid squad!” I said seriously.

The others started laughing at me. “What?”

“We’re in a squad are we?” Aria said between laughs.

I laughed as well realising what I had just said. “Well we might as well be!”

“Well who are my fellow team mates then other than her!” Aria said turning her nose up at the thought of Cassie.

“Well you, Molly, Faye, Liz and Evie.”

“What colour are we wearing?”

“Well I was thinking purple. And then possibly silver for the men’s waistcoats and stuff.”

The guys started laughing. Me and Aria both turned around and asked simultaneously. “What?”

“Nothing...just I thought you two hadn’t talked about wedding arrangements.” Lee said chuckling.

“We haven’t. I just know those are the colours I want.”

“So I don’t get a say in the matter?” Liam questioned.

“No! It’s the bride’s choice for colours and outfits. I mean let’s face it all that you guys are concerned about is the food and the bar. So you have full responsibility for both of those. For everything else that’s us girl’s department.”

Me and Aria looked between the two lads trying to put our finger on their reaction to my comment.

“Yeah good point. Fine grub and booze...suits me!”

“We should set a day aside to talk about all this stuff. Bridesmaid meeting!”

“Yes it’ll be like a girlie night in with a bottle and a wedding mags!” We both screamed excitedly like teenager. We may be in our twenties but deep down we’re still the same girls we were when we were in high school. This night was going to be like it used to be and I was really looking forward to it.
