Chapter 12

I woke up to beeping and someone holding my hand. I looked around the room. The walls were a pale blue with white tiles on the floor. The chairs were all filled. Cori was asleep across the room on a couch. Jace was sleeping in a chair with his head forward. I looked to see who the hand that was intertwined with mine belonged to. I saw a boy with blonde hair and a blue plaid jacket. I tried to sit up on my own which didn't work very well. The boy next to me moved and lit up when he saw me wake up.

"You ok!" Riker said looking in my eyes. Cori and Jace woke up and sat on my bed Cori on the right and Jace on the left.

"What happened?" I asked as Jace help me sit up.

"The evil family strikes again." Cori said cold.

"They set you up." Jace reminded me.

"I knew they would try to kill me one day." I said laying on Cori.

"Hey Merideth I have some people I want you to meet. As if it was planned whom I assumed was his family walked in.

"I'm Rydel."

"I'm Rocky."

"I'm Ross."

"I'm Ryland."

"I'm Mark."

"I'm Stormie."

They all said in a line. Riker defiantly looked like Ross and his mom. He had the same facial likeness as Ross but had Stormie's features.

"I'm Merideth." I said studying there faces.

"Hello ma'am. How are you feeling?" The nurse asked walking in.

"I'm ok." I said rubbing my forehead.

"Well you have someone here to see you." She said.
