Riker's POV|
We loaded up in the van with normal set up. Merideth, Macie, and I were in the front. Ross, Rocky, and Ratliff were in the middle and Rydel and Ryland were in the back. We stopped by Chick Fil A and got some delicious chocolate milkshakes and headed to Colorado.
The drive was pretty boring. Mom and dad talked about boring adult stuff. Ross, Rocky, and Ratliff were a human dubstep with Ry adding in. Merideth fell asleep on my shoulder. I didn't mind though. She was so peaceful when she slept it was sweet. Macie curled up on my side and slept.
We got to Colorado really late at night. The cabin is two levels with four rooms. Rydel and Merideth are in the room upstairs. Rocky, Ratliff, and I share the bigger room downstairs. Ross and Ryland are next door. My mom and dad are across the hall. We all walk in and pretty much crash when we go to sleep.
|Next Morning|
We all woke up to smell of hot chocolate and pancakes. Well we know mom is up. I walk downstairs to see Merideth and Rydel playing with Macie.
"Good Morning!" The girls say in sync.
"Good morning!" I say leaning over giving Merideth a kiss on the forehead.
"You ready to go skiing?" Mom says handing me a plate with chocolate chip pancakes and bacon on it.
"Absolutely! I have to teach Merideth to!" I say eating.
"And you promised a hockey game!" Ryland says coming in and getting breakfast.
"And we have time for it all!" Ross says coming in.
"Wow you guys all get up at the same time don't you?" Merideth pointed out.
"Yep! Now Ms. Howell you should go get you snow clothes on so we can go out." I said putting my plate in the sink.
