Chapter 21

Merideth's POV|

We got out table at IHOP and had girls walking up to us every five minutes.

"Are you R5?" One little girl asked. We had picked up Ratliff on the way so we had a big table.

After we got our food we all were eating when the manager of IHOP came up to our table. He whispered something into Stormie's ear.

"Merideth honey your stepfamily is here and would like to talk to you." Stormie said with concern.

"They may want it but they aren't going to get it." I said taking another bite of my pancakes.

"She says no." I heard Stormie say.

We sat in silence while we ate our breakfast.

"So we have a surprise for you guys." Mark said holding Stormie's hand.

"We are going to Colorado for a weekend skiing trip." Stormie said.

All the guys celebrated and Rydel and I started planning clothing.

"Do we get to stay at the lodge?" Riker asked like a little kid.

"Yes we made sure it was ready for the Lynches and a Ratliff." Mark answered.

Riker's POV|

I can't wait to take Merideth to the lodge. No one else knows but in the back of my closet there is a secret room. I plan to take Merideth back there for some time to ourselves. I can still see how skeptical she is since Roxanne was at our house.

"Hey we are on for hockey when we get there right?" Rocky said running by.

"Your on!" I implied. He ran out and dropped his phone which vibrated. "Rocky your phone is going off!" I yelled.

"Thanks it's probably Courtney." Rocky winked and walked out. He had been talking to this new girl that he liked. She was pretty cool. The family still has to meet her but Rocky really likes her.

This trip is going to be good for the family. I think we all need some time away from the freaks of LA.
