Today was the day. The oh so special day. The day you regretted so much, but some how others enjoy this day, they're excited. Today is the first day of school. 11th grade to be exact.

You've always wondered why people love the first day of school. You hated it. New students would try to talk to you but you didn't answer back. You didn't have many friends. You sat in the corner of every room. Being quiet as possible, not only with your voice.

You arrived at school trudging towards your first class. You looked up a little to make sure you didn't bump into anyone. But as you did you caught a glimpse of the black haired dweeb. You smiled a little and walked up to him. You tapped his shoulder but soon realised there was another presents with him. A male blonde, red hoodie with black skinny jeans and red converse. And shades? You could barely see his eyes. So it was hard to tell if he was looking at you or looking somewhere else.

John turned around and smiled at you. "Hey (yn)! It's good to see you again!" He walked towards you and gave you a big hug. You let out a grunt and smiled, then wrapped your arms around his small frame.

You pulled away and gestured to the blonde. "Oh, (yn) this is Dave! The one I talk about on pesterchum! Dave this is (yn)!" Dave shifted a bit but held out his hand "sup." You slowly put your hand up and shook his hand. "Oh and she's mute" you gave a look at John but shrugged it off.

Towards lunch time you were trying to find John, or Dave, or Rose, or Jade...

You soon spotted the cool kid. But you also saw him being flirted with the Preppy Bitch called Samantha. You thought he would be flirting back but instead he looked awkward and wanted to desperately get out of the situation.

You walked up to Dave and grabbed his hand, you were about to walk away when Samantha grabbed his other hand and tugged him towards her. You looked up at Dave before full force pulling him.

Samantha let go but that also meant Because of the force Dave fell on top of you. You looked up and realized his glasses have fallen off. You stared into his beautiful red orbs, Mesmerized by the shade of red. You blushed deeply. You have now seen Dave in a new perspective. You thought Dave wore shades because he thought he looked cool. But no, He had a reason, he was embarrassed because of his eye color. He got up and clasped his hands on his face covering his eyes. You honestly thought it was adorable.

You slowly got up and picked him up as well. You walked over to his glasses picked them up and guided Dave towards the boy's bathroom.

Once you got there you shoved Dave in as well as his glasses.

After he came out he thanked you which you replied with a nod. "So do you like Samantha?" he asked, you shook your head no. "Why did you help me back there?" you shrugged and grabbed out a piece of paper. You wrote down why you helped him and gave to him.

'I helped you because you looked awkward and you seemed like you didn't like her. And plus I've never been the heroine. I've always been the damsel in distress'

You heard him laugh as you continued walking.

*2 months later*

Dave, John, and yourself where walking in the park heading towards Sollux's place for his birthday party. Knowing him he would do nothing but play video games all day after you all leave. Once you made it there you saw everybody, You immediately walked over to Mituna and did your hand shake. You had bonded with this Captor because it was cool hanging out with him. It was fun talking to each other and hearing him say stupid perverted stuff. As you turned around you noticed Dave staring at you with a disappointed face.

You walked over and gave him a confused look. He shrugged you off and walked over towards Terezi.

"Guys guess what!" You heard Gamzee shout. You all looked over and saw he had packages of beer. You sighed and walked towards the back of the house.
