Rose X Reader

"Rose? May I ask you a question?" She hummed In response. "What is your favorite book?"

She looked at me and smiled. "I love all books but my favorite has to be..."Lonely at last"...It's a wonderful book"

"What is it about?"

She closed her current book and set it aside. Her eyes burning into my soul. I slight blush went across my face.

"It's about a girl, she fell in love with another girl. But her parents said if they ever got together they would kick her out."

I nodded and scooted closer. "So she went behind their backs and dated the girl, one day the parents found out and kicked her out." I nodded. "She went to the girls house to receive affection but she found out the girl had been cheating on her; devastated she ran to the street and got hit by a car." I nodded biting my lips.

"She had undergone in a coma, her parents arrived as well as her ex, they made eye contact before the girl ran away. The parents stayed but soon left. When she woke up no one was there to greet her, until she realized she was better off alone."

I smiled, "That sounds like a wonderful book" she nodded "It's an amazing piece of work, I can lend you the book?" I nodded "I would appreciate it."

She smiled moving closer to me. "I've never met someone more intrigued in books than you." I smiled bigger "I love books, almost as much as you."

I comprehended what I had just said and looked away blushing. She giggled and hugged my side. "I love you way more than books."

I smiled and kissed her cheek. She too returned the favor.

Later that night we read books like no tomorrow.

And I was happy this way.
