Kankri X Reader

You were sat in class listening to the teacher ramble on and on. Your lab partner was writing down notes and muttering to himself. You never really spoke to him unless told to, all you knew was that his name was Kankri and his little brother was in your P.E. class.

You slumped further until the teacher called your name "What is the formula for this?" You rolled your eyes and shrugged "I don't know" he huffed and crossed his arms "see me after class" there was a choir of 'oooohhhhs' coming around the longest being from Egbert.

After class had ended you shuffled to the front of the class where your teacher stood "listen (y/n) I know you're a smart girl, that's why you have chemistry for a sophomore! But it seems you're having trouble... So Kankri has decided to help you until you get your D up to a B." "B-bu-" "No buts, Kankri has told me to tell you to meet him in the library after school. Don't be late, you know how he likes to ramble on and on" you nodded and walked to your next class.

After school had ended you quickly speed to the library not wanting to get lectured by Kankri.

You made it just in time, slowly sitting next to him and smiling. He returned the smile and scooted over a bit. "Good afternoon Kankri" "Yes, Good afternoon."

looking around you saw people already staring. You tried to sound as polite as possible, not wanting him to get angry or to get him offended.

You were working on formulas, outcomes, elements. You huffed a little and he instantly stopped "do you maybe want a break?" You nodded a little and took out your water bottle. You looked across at Karkat who had his earphones in doing his homework. Looking back at Kankri and then the time. We had been studying for an hour and a half, "do you think we should call it a day?" You asked while looking back at him. He nodded and gathered his stuff, "it was nice working with you, I made this small study guide on the things you need help working on." You took the piece of paper and nodded "Thank you" he smiled again and tapped Karkat telling him that they were now leaving. You waved bye and started to walk home.

The next day came and you walked into the chemistry lab. You spotted Kankri sitting down looking over his notes. Sliding into the seat you pulled out the study guide and handed it to him. He looked at you confused but took it anyway, "is there a problem?" He quickly shook his head "no sorry, it's just no one really does the study guides I give them." I chuckled a little, shaking my head and sitting down. "I hate homework but i didn't want to make you mad" i looked over and saw his cheeks flush a bright red. You coughed and looked away starting the bell work. You took out  your stuff and started tapping a pencil on the desk. You glanced over at Kankri but only to see him look away quickly, another blush going over his cheeks. Smirking slightly you leaned close to him and asked him to help you with a question, "U-uh, y-y-yea my pl-pl-pleasure..."

After school had ended you walked towards the Library to be met with the familiar egderp. "Hey (Y/N)! Did you see Kankri during Chemistry?! Man, he looked so out of it! You know with the bright face, sweaty, stuttering..." You nodded and leaned on one hip, "Yea, i wonder what was wrong" Oh but you knew exactly what was wrong.

You figured Kankri had only tutored guy before so this was his first time around a girl for such a long period of time. Well of course besides Porrim, which you had seen him hang out with before. You bid your farewells and parted.

You soon strolled into the library instantly spotting the bright red sweater mixed with black hair and small troll horns. You sat next to him and pulled out a pencil, "So what are we working on today professor?" he chuckled and got out a chemistry textbook, "Periodic Table" you nodded and pulled out your textbook flipping to the back. 

At the end of the lesson, Kankri packed up as well as giving you another study guide. "Um, Kankri?" He looked over "Yes?" You walked closer and put your hand on his shoulder, everyone knew that if you made contact with Kankri, he would go ballistic and start lecturing. But he didn't...he looked you straight in the eye with a big blush. "I just wanted to say, Thank you for tutoring me." he quickly nodded looked away. Plan B was coming in hot. You leaned forward and pushed your lips onto his cheek. He stopped what he was doing and touched his cheek, he then looked up at you and smiled lightly, "I appreciate your form of affection, It was affection, right?" you giggled and nodded "Yes, it was affection" he nodded and urged Karkat to grab his stuff and leave. Which resulted in Karkat falling off the chair and face-first, with Kankri running out of the Library with a big blush and grin. (I will love you forever if someone drew this...)

You laughed helping Karkat up and walking back home.

The next day you sat next to Kankri, he looked over at you and smiled, you smiled back. Starting your bellwork, but soon stopped when Kankri held your hand under the table closest to him. You gave a small squeeze and continued. You felt butterflies erupt in your stomach and it was your turn to blush. Then a pair of lips meet your cheek. You quickly looked over at Kankri who had a massive smirk on his lips, "That was for teasing me yesterday" you smiled and looked back at your paper.

Getting a B with this troll was gonna be tough.
