HICCUP

The only thing in my mind was to pass that project and get a passing grade for Spanish. I promised my Mom to pass that subject because I didn't want to offend her by flunking a language that she grew up with.

I was partnered up with this girl named, Elsa. She's very pretty with her pale blond hair that turns white when the light hit it, but I don't even know why I still end up having a crush on someone who's already taken when there are lots pretty girls, around.

And now, she's mad at me for picking someone else instead of her. Somehow, I thought she was jealous but then again, why would she? All we do was argue about anything which makes the two of us more different, like today.

When I finished talking to Elsa, Rapunzel chimed in when she left our table, "Saturday? But it's movie night at your place!" she demanded, again.

"It's just a quick practice with our project and then we're done." I answered back.

"Can't the two of ye just talk normally in a normal volume without shouting at each other's faces?" Merida said as we finally walked down the hallway.

"Merida! It's movie night." Rap spoke, almost like she's trying to get Merida on her side.

"Hey, like what Hiccup said. Their practice will be finish by the time we start our movie night." Merida explained.

"Oh, fine!" she finally gave up. "You two would only just huddle up against me."

"Now that's been taken care of, where the heck is Jack?" Merida continued. "It's already time for our next class. Don't tell me he's gone there first, without us?"

"I don't think so. Jack hates Algebra. He would possibly skip Math class." I replied. Math class was the only class that the four of us attend at the same time. We always go there together.

While walking, I felt someone place an arm over my shoulder which startled me and made me turn my head to the back.

"Crap, Jack! Can't you just walk up to us like a normal person would do?" I told him, angrily.

"Sorry, Hiccup." He apologized, but the grin on his face still didn't fade away. He leaned closer and whispered, "Did you soil your pants?"

I just sighed and let him and Merida laugh all they want.

"Come on, guys!" Rap suddenly butted in. "We can't be late for class." She added as she hurriedly walked without us. People around her just looked her way while the others who covered her way, parted, making a clear path for her.

"She's still mad?" Jack asked me and Merida as we followed Rap to our next class.

"Just upset." Merida answered.

Well, if Rap's upset, she'll stay like that for how many days. But I'm not really worried about that because I like it when she's mad.

"Aren't you gonna' apologize?" Jack asked me.

"Nah, let her be. She'll get over it, anyway." I replied, calmly as we enter Mr. Schrubb's class.

RAP

I can't believe Hiccup! First, he picked a different girl for Spanish class instead of me. I mean, it's a MINI play. Doesn't he need someone like me on that kind of situation? I'm the president of Drama club and he picks some random girl over a professional actress. Next, he's going to practice it with her on movie night! What a spoiler. Ugh.

The bell rang as a sign that classes have ended and it was time to go home. But for a cheerleader like me, I still have a practice at the field. I walked out of my last class and went directly to my locker.

"Hi, Rap." People would greet me as I pass by. I just smile at them and give a cheerful 'hello'. Others would ask me how was my day, tell me I'm very pretty today, ask what lipstick I wore, wish me good luck on cheerleading practice (even though I didn't need one.), there were so many questions that I couldn't answer while briskly walking. That would probably be one of the perks of being famous.

My locker was in the middle part of the corridors, just close to the Dean's office. When I opened it, a bunch of envelopes fell off. I picked it up and took a look at it, one by one.

"Just a bunch of love letters." I mumbled as I threw everything in the recycling bin. I was about to close my locker when Eugene suddenly popped-in to view.

"Hola, senorita." He said with a weird accent.

"Oh, hey. You've been..." I replied, trying to think of a comment for his impression, "Practicing."

"Yeah, babe. I do not wanna' look bad in front of everyone. You know what I mean?" he told me, as though it was such an achievement to say those two Spanish words.

"Yeah..." I replied, slowly nodding my head, giving him a fake smile. "Bye, Eugene. I need to go to practice."

"I can go with you." Eugene suggested as he pulled my arm back to him. "You might wanna' be inspired." He added and gave a wink.

"Thanks but no thanks." I turned him down and quickly walked away before he could even catch me. Gosh, I didn't know I was dating a weirdo.

As I made my way to the field, I saw Merida with Hiccup and Jack just hanging out at our secret hiding place, where we do whatever we want without any fans in the way. She was doing some neat skateboard tricks on the railings, while Hiccup was busy reading a book, probably a book about dragons. Jack was busy drawing on a long thick wooden sceptre with a marker while he placed the marker's lid between his teeth. It's kind of odd that he suddenly became attached to that old piece of stick.

I wish I could be with them and ditch practice but what could I do? I sighed and just continued to the field.

Until, someone bumped in to me. For the first time in my whole high school life, someone was in my way and didn't move away. When I stood up, I felt hot liquid running down my pleated skirt.

"I'm sorry!" the girl said as she tried wiping my skirt with her handkerchief. "I'm very sorry. I wasn't looking."

I was mortified at what she had done to my skirt. I remained speechless while my mouth flew open. It looked like I peed in it which is the last thing I would do when I die.

I was so distracted that I still haven't seen the face of the person that bumped in to me.I lifted my head and saw Elsa, her face suddenly shaken when she saw that it was me. Everyone in the corridor fell silent.

"I'm very sorry," she kept apologizing. It's her fault. It's her fault that she spilled her drink on me.

I was furious, annoyed, and humiliated. I didn't know what to react so I stomped my feet and ran like I've never ran before. I don't know where to go so I locked myself up at the girl's bathroom.

After a couple of minutes, somebody was already knocking on the door, "Rap!"

"I'm not in the mood for an argument, Hiccup!" I shouted back, when I heard his voice.

"Rap! It's us. Ye can open the door, now. We got ye covered." I finally heard Merida's voice which made me calm down a little. After that, I opened the door, peeking between the gaps.

Behind them, was the least person I wanted to see at the moment. She stood nervously, biting her lip.
