Aidan locked up his flat behind them, then rushed past Amber before she could reach his car. He opened the door for her as she got in. "You know," she said, smiling up at him, "you don't have to do that every time. I'm capable of opening a door myself." Aidan laughed and shrugged. "Just trying to impress the lady, I guess." With that, he shut the door, and Amber gasped. What did this mean? She didn't want to question it. She just wanted to let it take its course. As Aidan got in on the the driver's side, he looked at her. Amber still hadn't quite been able to master her poker face yet, and she was still basking in the thought of Aidan Turner of all people, wanting to impress her. "You alright over there, sweetheart?" he asked, genuinely concerned, "You look as though you've seen a ghost." She couldn't help herself, and burst out laughing. Aidan was confused, but then realized what was happening. Making more Being Human jokes again. He'd known this girl for less than twenty-four hours, but some small part of him felt like maybe, just maybe, he was falling in love with her.
