Weeks passed, and Amber was forced to go through gruelling physical therapy. Her leg was still healing, so she couldn't do much with that, but she did as much as she could with her arms from her wheelchair. Aidan stayed by her side every second of it. She couldn't help but wonder what their life was like together. After all, she couldn't even remember who he was, nevermind what he did. One day, she finally asked him. "Aidan, you're always here with me. Don't you have a job that you need to go to?" He took her hand gently in his. "I'm an actor, sweetheart. I'm here for a while, and then I have to leave for a while. Luckily, I'm here for a while. I'm not going anywhere until you're okay." "You're an actor?" she implored. "Yes, I am. You told me once that I was your favourite actor, even before you met me. You know what? I'll show you."

Aidan had been waiting for this for a while. He kept the DVD with him, just in case. He put the disc into the player and watched the grainy picture as it appeared on the hospital room television screen. He clicked play and sat down beside Amber as series two, episode three of Being Human began to play.
