Deeply embarrassed, Amber pulled away, turning her head away from Aidan. "What's wrong?" Aidan asked, somewhat hurt. Amber was silent, still trying to collect her thoughts. As much as he didn't have the right to be, Aidan was self-conscious. Amber was just so beautiful, and he had no idea if she saw anything in him. She told him that he was her favourite actor, but that didn't mean she was interested in him in that way. In his mind, Amber's ex was much more attractive than he was, even if he was a total dick. "Hello?" he asked, desperately wanting to hear her voice, desperately wanting to know how she felt. "What? Sorry," she stumbled, turning her attention back to him. In her mind, she was wondering what he saw in her. He was so perfect, and she had no idea how beautiful she was. "You pulled away..." he trailed off, somewhat ashamed. "I just...I don't feel..." she began, and Aidan's heart sank. "You don't feel the same way I do. I understand." He couldn't hide his disappointment. "No!" she practically shouted, "I...I don't feel like I deserve you." Taken aback by this statement, Aidan responded with another kiss. This one wasn't light, however, it was deep and passionate.
