(Normal Pov) (With Sonic)
"I can't believe I'm actually gonna do this. I'm finally gonna tell Shadow how I feel about him." Sonic smiled to himself as he ran to Shadow's favorite place to think hoping he'd be there, the Mystic Ruins. He continued to run until he seen a figure in the distance. As he got closer, he noticed that it was Shadow. His whole face lit up as he smiled big
"Shadow!" Sonic leaped and knocked Shadow down, landing on top of him chuckling. Shadow shook his head and seen that Sonic was the one that ran into him and knocked him over
"Sonic? Why'd you do that?" Shadow questioned as Sonic stood up, pulling Shadow up with him. Sonic smiled nervously and rubbed the back of his neck nervously
"There's a-actually s-something I have to tell you." Sonic mumbled, but Shadow heard him
"Well what is it?" Shadow wondered, amused by the fact that Sonic was stuttering
"I-I..." Sonic didn't know how to put his words together. He always felt nervous around Shadow
"Come on. Spit it out." Shadow pushed. He was curious on what Sonic had to tell him. Sonic sighed and grabbed both of Shadow's hands, stepping closer to him and looking straight into his eyes
"I'm in love with you Shadow. I love everything about you. Your attitude, your smirk, the way you walk, laugh, talk, just about everything. You're on my mind 24/7 and I love it. You're like a drug and I'm addicted to you. I can't get enough of you. I want you...I need you." Sonic spoke every word with a strong heart and strong confidence. He watched as Shadow stood there blushing as red as a tomato. Shadow then quickly removed his hands from Sonic's hands as thoughts ran into his head
"I-I'm sorry Sonic....I mean I feel the same way, b-but I...I'm not ready to get into another relationship and trust anyone else. My heart is already broken and I don't know how much more it could take." Shadow whimpered as he felt his heart winch in pain as the memories continued to run around in his head
"Shadow? Why is your heart broken?" Sonic questioned. Shadow broke down. He couldn't take the pain he felt in his heart. Sonic quickly went to his aid, hugging him tightly. Shadow cried onto Sonic's chest as he pressed both his hands against his own heart, wanting the memories and pain to stop. It took 4 minutes to calm Shadow down. Sonic pulled Shadow away from his chest and rubbed the remaining tears from his eyes
"Do you feel better?" Sonic questioned. Shadow nodded
"Y-yeah thanks." Shadow replied. Sonic smiled softly
"You're welcome. Now...if you feel like it....could you tell me why you can't trust me?" Sonic questioned. Shadow looked down and bit his lip
"I-I'm not ready to tell you yet." Shadow stated. Sonic understood completely
"Okay Shads. I'm not gonna push you into telling me. I'll wait until you're ready to tell me." Sonic smiled. Shadow looked up at him and smiled
"Thank you Sonic." Shadow leaped forward and hugged Sonic, making Sonic fall onto his back. Shadow then chuckled and laid his head on Sonic's chest. Sonic blushed and chuckled
"You're welcome. Anytime." Sonic replied in a soft voice....
